free dining ressie, online troubles

I have a ressie for free dining in August. I looked at the HELP on the website, and it says that the first time I want to view my reservation online, I'll have to enter the ressie number and my phone number, in order to retrieve it. After that I am supposed to be able to just log in, click on "reservations" in the left column under My Disney Vacation, and it will be there. Nope, I have to retrieve it EVERY TIME, even when I am logged in. Anyone else on free dining have this problem with the website?

I think it's a glitch with the site period - nothing to do with free dining. We've never been able to retrieve ressies without having to give the confirmation number each time. I think if you book online, it might automatically bring up your reservation, but I've never been able to get it to "stick" when I've booked through CRO.

For my trip last September (booked online) I was able to click on "reservations" and voila! there was all my info. However, for my trip this May (also booked online) and my upcoming September trip (booked on the phone), I have to enter my reservation # every single stinkin' time. I think it is a glitch on the site in general. I also had trouble with my May trip entering my flight information online for Magical Express - kept getting a page error. I ended up calling in my information, then at last after several weeks I was able to get into that section online: no flight information was posted. So I entered the information online. As a result, we somehow had 2 reservations for Magical Express! It was no big deal, but yes, the website -as with any technology- is far from perfect.

I booked through CRO for our May trip and online for the September trip.

Neither one has "stuck"

I think it is just not working all that well overall.
