I'm sure all of this has been asked before, but I've never had the opportunity to take adavantage of this and if it extended into October, as has been rumored, I just may be in luck!

Do you have to have a minimum day/night stay(we'll be at POP for 3 nights beginning October 23rd)?

Do you have buy a theme park ticket to take advantage of this special? If so, does everyone have to buy one, or just one member of the party? We will be using our 10day non-expires from a previous trip, but I would buy one/two if needed.

Thanks for your help!

Typically it is a minimum 3 night stay, and it must be a room + tickets package.

As I said, the Free Dining is a promotion on room packages...so yes, you have to buy at least a one day ticket for every person in the room. So if there is 2 adults & 2 children, you'd have to buy 4 one day tickets. You don't have to use these passes if you already have tickets...they can just be saved for your next trip (they do not expire if you haven't used them.)

Your stay begins too late for the general public free dining period, which ends October 3. You can get free dining for your trip if you have received a PIN code offer or other special offer for which you are eligible. As the previous poster mentioned you would need to convert your reservation to a package and buy some sort of ticket for every member of your party.

there are rumors floating about that the Free Dining will be offered through 12/23...the last one I saw was that it will be offered to Visa cardholders on Friday (this week) and to the general public on Monday. A new code was released today for AP holders.

Oh wow...general public free dining for the rest of the year would be miserable for those of us who don't do it and were waiting for the free dining period to finish up. But maybe Disney's hurting badly enough for attendance to do it.

Is there a post someone that explains what you get exactly with free dining? I'm sure there is, but as I said--I've never paid attention. I'll be out of town Friday, but since I do have a Disney Visa, I will be sure to check online throughout the day. I'd like to know how to plan accordingly though and what money will be needed. I can make my ADRs on Saturday...

My current ressie is with my AAA discount; I've read both that I can still get the discount and that I can't with the free dining. Does anyone know for sure? I know sometimes the CM's don't know...

The "free dining" promotion requires booking of a full price room plus tickets package at a Disney resort. All Disney package reservations require a minimum $200 deposit at the time of booking, with the balance to be paid no later than 45 days before arrival. You must purchase at least a one-day park ticket for everyone on your reservation as part of your package.

You will not be able to combine any other discounts with free dining.

The usual "free dining" package includes the regular dining plan - 1 TS credit, 1 CS credit and 1 snack credit per person per night.
