Free Dining question

This is probably a dumb question, but here it is:

My husband and I have booked a standard view room at POFQ with free dining. We have paid our $200 depost and all that. Now we have a couple of close friends who are looking to go to Disney with us. Would it cost extra for us to add them to our room reservation (we 4 don't mind sharing a room)? Also, would they be entitled to free dining under our PIN as long as they purchase the requisite park tickets?

You can add your friends to your reservation with FD, it's an additional charge of $15 per person over 18 to share the room, so another $30 per night to add two people. (I don't know if the charge has gone up since I paid it for my daughter in 2010.)

How did you get free dining with POFQ? That was not part of the current promotion?

Pin codes were sent out to those resort's not covered under the current free dining.

Yup I it one to port orleans riverside too.
I called and added my mom after we booked originally.
Price only went up about the cost if park tickets. Everyone gets free dining.

I also was lucky enough to get this pin and move from caribbean beach to POFQ. However you were extremely lucky to get a standard room with free dining. I had to get a river view-which will be nice, but I would have loved to save some cash.

How did you get free dining with POFQ? That was not part of the current promotion?

I was originally booked at CSR with FD but received a PIN in my email which included POFQ and POR, so I called and switched resorts. I was able to get a standard view POFQ with FD for September 6-12.

you can book up to 3 rooms with a PIN for the same dates/resort so if your friends would prefer their own room you could make a reservation for them if there is availability.

If you add them to your room reservation, they will have the same package as you (park tickets, free dining). You'll pay for their park tickets and for the extra adult charge (assuming they are both over 18) for two persons each night.
