Free Dining question...

Ok...so we just came back from a "free" Dining experience at Disney. And determined January is the best time to go!

Soooo in saying that. I think we are going to book under the free dining promo next January. BUT we are Kinda Disney parked out I can't do another 7 days at the world.

We would love to book at Caribbean Beach again...with Free Dining without purchasing a 7 day park pass. I am thinking we could do with a 2 day park hopper with the intentions of going to Universal and Sea world and stuff as well..something different...but enjoying the comfort of the Disney Hotel

Can we qualify for free dining for our complete stay? I hope I just made sense...

As long as you buy the ticket they require for free dinning, you can go anywhere you want.

it used to be that you just needed to buy a one day ticket but I do believe that you can do it as long as you do a two day park ticket....I used to do this all the time....

We usually only eat at 2 parks for our Table service meals...the rest are at other resorts!! We purchased a 7 day because we thought we had too...we didn't go to the parks every day. We wasted 3 days of it..

I would ike to visit universal, Sea world and do a few other things non-Disney this time so it would be a waste buying a 7 day pass!!

Your dining plan credits are based on the number of nights you are at a resort, not by your ticket days. So, even if you get 2 day tickets, if you are at your resort 7 nights, you will have 7 nigths worth of dining credits.

I have an upcoming free dining reservation for August 2012 (via a Bounceback offer) that required a 3 day park ticket.
