Does anyone know if, historically, when the Free Dining promotions have been offered, if you could have it if you were at a campsite at Fort Wilderness?

Since 2005, Disney has been offering Free Dining during the last part of August until the end of September, give or take a few days. It has already been offered to UK visitors for this September and to those of us who were there at WDW during Free Dining this past September for the dates of August 30 - September 27 2008. The free dining for this year should be announced during the first week of April, just as the previous years. The first couple of days it will only be open to Disney Visa holders and then will open up to the general public. Ft. Wilderness campsites are not eligible for the Free Dining promo.

I went for the first time in 2006. They announced free dining around April-May. I stayed in the Fort Wilderness Cabins, so yes they do offer free dining there, but it is not offered for the campsites. In 2006 free dining started in the second week of August, then just last year it didn't start until the end of Aug. Hope I helped!

No free dining offered for the campsites, but I did write down what the AP special rate for a campsite was for last year during that time, if that helps at all :

Campsite $25.84 per night (incl. tax) for a basic campsite

Thanks for all the info. I'm already booked into Pop Century with the bounceback from last year, but I was just wondering if the promotion ever extended to the campsites - and you've all answered my question!
