Free Dining Question

Hey everyone I just got back from an awesome 8 day vac. at the world and was on the "free dining plan" (will post my dining reviews soon!!...Lets just say my pants are very snug!!)

Anyway my question is:
has Disney ever offered the dining plan for free before? if so when?

just woundering b/c it was a great deal and if they do offer it again I will be sure to book my vacation!!

We also just got back from a great trip with free dining! Also had free dining last year, just about the same time of year. Of course, this does not mean they will even offer it again. No one knows for sure! Glad to hear you had a wonderful time!

This is the second year free dining has been offered as a promotion to get folks to visit during the heart of hurricane season. (Previously, they had offered very deep hotel room rate discounts during this time of year.)

It is very likely we'll see it offered again next year, as they've already extended that offer (for August/September 2007) to UK residents.

What Disney seems to do is offer it late on to fill up its hotels. If the hotels are already full it may not offer it. Most likely it will be offered if us brits don't take it all

I wanted to know if you knew around when does WDW offer the Free DDP to everyone? (I understand that you never know, WDW may change their minds... ) But I see you on here quite a bit and not sure if you remember when they started offering for this year????? Thank you....

The Fall Free Dining Promotion started on April 1st. That was the day that Disney Visa Cardholders could book and then it opened to the general public within a week. I booked the day that it opened. I honestly thought it was an April Fool's Joke because of the date that they started it.
