Free Dining Promotion In the Sunday Paper

Just wanted to mention that the Free DDP is now being advertised in the Sunday Paper Travel Section. So the word is officially out now even to those computerless folks...

It was on page TWO of the Travel section, Washington Post! If you haven't booked yet, or thinking of changing your resort choice I wouldn't wait to long because the folks booking this promotion just increased!

I wonder if they increased the room offerings. Some families will be pretty disapointed when they can only get a deluxe.

For kicks I checked for 2 weeks starting on 8/26 online. Not a single mod or value was available.

Well, not for for us that know and love the DIS, but for others; what a bummer.

Sure there may be some who choose to stay deluxe, but, even some deluxes are having booking issues; take WL for instance.

For kicks I checked for 2 weeks starting on 8/26 online. Not a single mod or value was available.

I was thinking about upgrading so I just looked on-line; for a stay starting 8/27 and ending 9/4 there were a few mods still available. However when I looked to see if any of the values were still available during that time they were sold out.

Oh my god, I just looked at the ad in our paper and they must have ran the copy from last years promotion because it says the dates are 8/13 to 9/30. People in this area will be extra dissapointed when they can't book a value and they can't book dates before 8/26.

I am going to check my Sunday paper...you know, if I wasnt on Tripadvisor..DH saw the ad that said only $455 per person w/free DDP....thta sold him. Of course, that was a value price, and POP was available for dates last night, but not our dates, so CBR it is! Didnt tell him the "minor" increase... But we do get a fridge and coffee maker now

There was a glitch online a few days ago. The online value resort would say sold out then if you removed the option for water parks and searched again it was tthere !!!!

I don't know if Disney would need to honor the ad because it was a peice of a larger ad that Liberty Travel ran under their company logo.

I just checked the Liberty Travel website and the dates are correct on there.

I did the same thing, checked on-line. Also, the Liberty travel ad in Pittsburgh has the correct dates. Don't think Disney would have to honor the ad, it is not theirs. It does not even have the number to call, you would have to call the Liberty travel number, and I'm sure they would correct you right away.

Unfortunately, it would do me no good. We're committed to June. I was just thinking of everyone who is going earlier in August. Oh well.

Well, 2 weeks is a long time. If only one day wasn't available at any of the resorts, than it won't show up. If you had an AP and 1 day wasn't available in the 2 weeks, then it isn't going to show a discount for ANY of the nights.

That's true. I tried 8/26-9/1 then 9/1-9/7. If I'm bored later I'll try day to day.
