Free Dining Plan with August Vacations????

Is it true that in August Disney includes the dining plan for free????

Not every August. Right now the 4/3 deal goes until 8/15. Some people are getting pin codes for 8/16-10/1, myself included. Usually, at the end of March early April they will offer free dining to Disney Visa holders for those dates I mentioned, THEN it seems to go to the general public for free dining. Basically keep your fingers crossed that in April they offer it. If they do it probably won't start until 8/16.

Yes and No. Every year since 2005 or so Disney offers the Dining plan free with purchase of a Full priced non discounted disney resort Pkg including resort stay and Park tickets.The promotion is for travel dates Mid-late August thru LAte Sept .It is generally announced in early April for bookings.Disney doesn't just give it to you either.You need to call and book using a code .There are also a limited number of rooms per resort that are eligible for the free dining plan.

I would call back and see if you can change to the 7 for 4 deal, you can still book it. I just keep checking on here and other sites to check for discounts.

I am not sure which will be better. I have a 40% discount code, but am hoping for free dining. It may be a wash for us since it is only 2 adults. We will be there the end of September for our first F&W Festival.

I know I have gotten a free dining offer from Disney Visa before, but I can't remember..does it come by postcard or email?

The 4/3 offer sounded good to me, and I was hoping that it would be extended to the end of August. Someone pointed out to me that free dining will probably start, and I doubt they will offer both at the same time. So I am hoping to try free dining for my first time.

Free dining bounceback became available end of August and expired October 24.

Typically, free dining general public offers are good only for the end of August. The first couple of years they offered the promotion it included dates as early as August 10. Lately they've included only the last week of August (value season) in the US offer.

Yes... this is the bounce back that I booked when we were there the end of August this year. The free dining is the best way for us to go since there are 7 of us going (6 adults and 1 child) and with the 30% off bonus they were offering to stay at SSR or OKW we are all staying in one place this time!!! A 2bedroom villa at SSR!!!!! I can hardly wait
