Free Dining plan question?

I was wondering has anyone heard or seen the dates published for this year yet. I know in the past Disney has offerred this in Aug/Sept. i was wondering if they were for sure this year. Anyone know? Thanks!

that free dining will be offered again. We were all surprised when they offered it last year. I'll cross my fingers though, it was FABULOUS!!!!

Will they offer free dining this year?
The free dining promotion has also been offered to guests while on-site at WDW if staying at Disney resort hotels during December 2006. The free dining promotion applies for arrivals starting August 5 (for the bounce-back offer) or August 12 (for the UK/European offer), through September 29, 2007. There is no indication, one way or another, whether free dining will be offered to other targeted groups and/or to the general public.

I called last night to set up for our vacation this August, (you know the $1600 value resort and tix) and she (CM on phone) said that she was not aware of anything yet in regards to the free DDP

The Good News....She stated that when it does become available, we could apply it to our vacation and be refunded the money.

I was doing a search last night on the internet for info on this year's free dining. I also found the UK/European offer dates -- I hope they'll do it again this year! It's such an amazing deal. DH and I ate like royalty last summer!

I just got off the phone with Disney, changing the dates for our September trip. I asked the agent about the "free dining" and he said "it is becoming an
annual event, but we have not received any info for booking,as yet". He sure gave me the impression that it will be offered again. He did say that marketing will begin to release ads in the Sunday travel section of newspapers, when and if a decision is made.
I booked with the "code" and did save some on the reservation, but if the numbers crunch for me for the free dining, if it is released, I will change it. Did the dining last year and LOVED it!
So add me to the list that is waiting, rather impatiently, if the "free dining" is made available to the general public again this year.
