Free Dining plan, please help? First timer

This is my first time going to WDW as an adult and planning my own trip, so please bear with me. Im reading a lot about FD. My travel dates actually do fall between the dates listed that it is available, Im going to be there March 4-8th. My question is, is it entirely too late to add this to my reservation? Im guessing YES. Maybe it couldnt hurt to call and ask though? What would I say to the reservation people to inquire about this? I did read thru the FD threads but I couldnt find the answer. Thank you so much!

It can't hurt to call and ask. However, my understsnding is that Disney only allows so many rooms per resort to be booked with free dining. All of the available rooms at the resort you are currently booked at may be gone so if you call to see if you can make the change to you reservation and you are told there aren't any rooms available you could inquire if there are any at another resort in the same category you are booked in (value, moderate or deluxe). The only current Free Dining Offer is for UK residents. The General Public Offer for March Dates had to be booked by Dec 17th I believe

Yes, if you're in the UK then call and ask about it. If you're not in the UK or maybe Canada (I think there was an offer for residents of Canada) then there is no current active general public offer available for you. When you call ask them to check to see if there is ANY free dining offer that you can take advantage of because right now there are personal codes out there, but I don't think they are for March.
