I have been reading some of the comments about POR and POFQ being open now for the dining plan this fall. IS this true? When we booked our trip in June for this November to get free dining, these resorts were not being offered. We ended up booking with CBR, which we have never been to. We have always stayed at Riverside and LOVED it. It is our "home away from home" to us. Love the atmosphere, alligator bayou, dtd boat, etc. There is nothing about POR we don't love. Even the much maligned buses have never been a problem. We reluctantly booked with CBR and are wondering if POR and POFQ are now open to fdp if we can switch bookings to POR???? When did it become open to fdp? Is this for real? Please help me out if you know what's going on. Thanks from a dedicsted Riverside fan
I know she will try to find out all she can. She is great and works exclusively for disney
I was apprehensive about CBR too, but decided to go in with a different attitude!
I'm looking at it as an experience and know that several people love CBR. I know 2 families in our small town who have recently been to CBR and LOVE it. They had nothing negative to say about any of it, and they stayed in the summer with all the heat, rain, and people!!!!! So, even though I hope the POR will open up, I don't think they will and will make the best of CBR, after all it's Disney
The rooms were roomy and clean. We stayed in the casitas which were supposed to be close to the main building. But it still was a LONG w a y to the food court, etc. We did not like the Pepper Mill food court at all, to confusing with their ordering system. Even the waiters didn't understand it. It might be okay now, as we haven't stayed there in a few years. I know it's an individual thing, but CSR was not for us. hope this helps
