Free dining Plan for DVC reservations?

Bear with me - I'm a newbie! If you rent a reservation from a DVC member, will you get the free dining plan which is offered during our vacation dates (Nov 19-23)?

Also, we have a reservation which we made ourselves (paying rack room rates)! As I am learning that there may be a cheaper & better way to see WDW, would my dining reservations be cancelled if I cancel these room reservations? Or can they transfer to the new DVC reservation ( I guess I would need to give the DVC member this info)?

No, free dining and other promotional offers are not available to those using DVC points for lodging.

Likely not, but when you call to cancel your room reservation you should mention that you want to keep your dining reservations. Why not just make your dining reservations using the reservation number from you r DVC rental? (Based on your dates, you haven't started making ADRs yet, right?)

Also, you should be aware that November is a pretty short notice reservation in the DVC world - availability may be limited for that period of time.
