Free dining plan+40%off ssr or villa+car?

Can get 14 nights at ssr inc dining plan(1 snack,1 table service+1 counter meal pp/pd)for $2325 for3adults 1 child or private villa + car + parking for $1485 in oct.what is best i have heard that dining plans are a bit limiting and disney transport from ssr can be time consuming and a few people have even said if i stayed at ssr i really would need car hire as well.???????

your post is kind of confusing, but in looking at your title you have free dining PLUS 40% off listed, which you can't do unfortunately. Disney doesn't stack discounts so you would ahve to do one or the other.

I am booking in uk so i can get 40% + free dining together thats why i am really tempted to stay at ssr but still would like to hear others views.

This (free dining plus 40% off at SSR) is an offer currently being made to UK residents only. It doesn't apply to US reservations. I see the OP has confirmed being from the UK.

I stay at SSR every December, but taking the buses doesn't bother me. Yes, they do have a lot of bus stops.

I am not sure this is a dining plan question, I think it's more "do I need a car at SSR or not" so I will move it to Transportation.

I stayed at SSR for the first time this year and I was very pleased how well the buses ran. The only one time we had an issue was on an MK day and there were several people just exiting the THV bus, and they all wanted to go to MK as well. We had a lot of people standing that trip; including me.

I would go with free dining b/c when we go on vacation - Mom doesn't cook!! That is my vacation too and I don't want to be cooking on top of everything else.

It is nice to be on Disney property - SSR is really nice and then you don't have to worry about finding places off site to eat or cooking!!

Our very first trip, we stayed at SSR. We were unsure of how things would go, so we rented a car. We drove it to SSR, and it sat in the parking lot THE ENTIRE TRIP. We NEVER used it again until we left to go home. It was a waste of time and money.... use DME.
