Free Dining Plan 2007 for our friends at UK only?

Does anyone know that Virgin Atlantic/UK has an offer for WDW free dining plan for those who book between now to Nov. 2006? The offer is good for travelling to the World from 8/12/07 to 9/29/07.
Do you think WDW might do the same for the others? The rate for Virgin Airline Travel includes hotel stays and free food. I don't know the exact exchange rate. Maybe you can figure it out.

Disney is offering this deal too - to UK visitors. If you go to here you can read about it. You're not tied into Virgin flights if you go through Disney UK. It's definitely FREE too as I priced it, out of curiousity, with and without dining. Great for people in the UK but strictly UK only though, not available in Ireland or any other part of Europe.

Very interesting! We'll have to see how this will pan out for us in the U.S. My travel dates are 8/21-9/1 so that would work out great for us. One can only hope!

I suspect this is part of the overall push in marketing in the UK. I listen to a London radio station (via internet, of course), and there have been quite a few WDW ads on as of late. None specifically noting this promotion, but I'm sure it will come in due time.

I very much doubt we'll see the free dining promotion available for booking stateside until May/June of next year. Being able to market and capitalize on such perceived cost savings for the next few months will definitely throw out a significant benefit to those who have to endure somewhat high prices for transatlantic journeys- at least to the extent of defraying that cost somewhat (not to mention that airfare and such must be planned out significantly ahead of time, as opposed to the consistent low-fares most will see here on Southwest and jetBlue).

Although I wish it were a widely available offer, it does make perfect sense.

In summay:

Residents in the UK can book free-dining for vacations in August-Septmebr 07 now.
Others will likely have to wait until mid-next year.

Thank you for doing further research on the 07 Free Dining for UK residents. DH believed the reason behind the early promotion is b/c that our friends across the big pond need much more time planning their vacations than us in the states.

Oh well, we can only pray for some left-over deals now.

That's what I assumed when I read about the UK offer - they would definitely need more time to plan a trip to the U.S. I've watched release dates for discount codes since '03 and the pattern I've noted is that Disney doesn't usually release them until 3-4 months out.
