free dining pkg/annual pass question

Not sure where to post, so if this is night the right place please redirect! Situation: We have a free dining package booked for early september with a 4 day ph pass. We just found out that we may be moving to the orlando area in a few months. Is it possible to keep the free dining package, but upgrade our tickets to annual passes?

You can upgrade the tickets once you get to WDW. I've done that I the past and it's been a pretty easy process.

So you had no problem keeping the discount package that you booked?

Correct. I waited until I'd used the tickets once and then upgraded them to APs and it didn't affect the reservations or the dining plan.
