Free Dining PIN

So I just checked an e-mail address that I almost NEVER use... Lo and behold - we have a PIN!

So we're already booked at POP for early December with free dining (quick service - though we're paying to upgrade to the regular DDP). And the e-mail I got says this:

Special Resort Offer
Free Disney Dining Plan when you buy one of these 4-night/5-day Disney vacation packages at select Disney Value Resorts including accommodations and Theme Park tickets for a family of four.

$1,284* for a family of four for stays most nights 8/27/09–9/21/09, 9/29/09–10/1/09 and 11/29/09–12/17/09 in a standard room.

$1,388* for a family of four for stays most nights 10/2/09–11/24/09 in a standard room.

Book through 10/3/09.

It also gives a special PIN code. So here's my question... is this PIN for Free Dining for the Regular DDP? It doesn't specify QSDP but it also doesn't specify Regular DDP. Just wondering... if we can save a couple of bucks using this PIN, I'm all over it! LOL

I plan on calling tomorrow but since they're closed right now and I know how knowledgeable all you DISers are, I thought I'd ask.

It says Free Disney Dining Plan. This is the basic DDP. You'll save some money with this PIN. Congratulations!!

I received this Free Dining Pin, as well. Why do you think Disney is sending Free Dining pins when FD can by booked by the general public until September 26th. I don't understand.

For people staying at value resorts who want the basic DDP, it is better than the public offer.

The other reason that Disney sends it out is because not everybody checks the specials. If somebody wasn't aware of the deals then this would maybe get them to call to find out a price. It's a way to get your attention.

We got this pin code months ago before the public was let loose on FD for these dates. LOL Still I am happy everyone gets to enjoy some type of plan for free, but I was glad mine was DDP!

My friend got this pin. She, her husband, me & my DD(10) will be at Pop with free regular DDP! Looks like we'll be there together. We arrive 11/30.

I guess this pin was attached to my name when I called to book the other day! I was soooo excited to get regular DDP instead of quick service since I was going to pay to upgrade!!
