Free Dining Offer - Does it apply

Hi, could someone please tell me if Disney's Free Dining Plan offer would apply if I make a booking with rented points?

I am assuming it does, but would like confirmation...

No, it does not apply to DVC points reservations.

You have to purchase a full price room/ticket package through CRO to get the free dining add-on. You could price a DVC room through CRO to compare.

FREE Disney World Dining Package Offer!

Get FREE Dining for travel most nights August 16 - October 3, 2009 when you book a full price Walt Disney World vacation package that includes at least 3 hotel nights at an official Disney World resort, plus at least one-day base theme park ticket.

You cannot purchase a vacation package with DVC points. You can however add the dining plan at full price but you don't have to purchase tickets.
