Free Dining Oct-Dec Is Here!!

We are booked for YC Oct 19-26...I know that YC&BC are sold out except for CL for our dates. Are they likely to have FD available to apply to our reservation even though our dates are already sold out?

Hi! I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that we will be at BC Oct 21-25. Maybe we will see each other at stormalong bay!:cool1:

Question: If I applied and was approved for a DV right now, would that be enough to get FD on Monday?

BTW--first post, woohoo!:woohoo:

Welcome!:banana::banana:

Don't think I've ever looked forward to Monday morning before lol.

Me either!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Are you sure she doesn't mean as soon as the offer comes out? Some TAs do not like quoting prices that are not set in stone. In other words, free dining is not out yet, so technically she can get you an idea of what it would cost you for what you want without including dining, but that price is not a quoted price by Disney for free dining. Although I am pretty sure it should match what you actually pay, there is no guarantee, so TAs do not want to commit to it. And I don't know if that is the case, but it sounds logical, maybe. :confused3

I'm pretty sure. I've made myself extremely clear. We already have a package booked without dining so I don't see how just switching resorts and giving me a price for that would be so complicated. We are traveling with my parents so I have made it clear that we need time to discuss our options and decide what's best for us BEFORE Aug 1st so that she will be able to call and change things.

Frustrated over here! My disney visa has yet to come in the mail and so it's looking like I'll be waiting till gp for fd. Hoping POR isn't booked by then. What's the fastest way to get a cm on the phone? It seems to take forever with the auto system, answering questions, spelling my name etc... (I already have a package booked)

:worried: That really stinks. It is so sad hearing all these bad TA moments. I know many think they have legitimate reason to do what they are doing, but sheesh. I have gone through so many bad TAs, yet I keep trying to find a good one. One who shares in my joy and excitement of the trip. Not one who just gets your business, makes your money and wants no further correspondence.

Tell me about it! I think from here on out I'll be my own TA!

That is really unacceptable! However, in the meantime why don't you look up the rates on the Disney site so you can still discuss everything with your family. That does not resolve your TA problem and you will then have to decide how to handle things with her but at least you will know what you need to know.

You don't have to pay it all in one payment to get the 0%. You get 6 months from the date of each payment you make with the DV. Check your statements under the "Qualifying Promotional Financing" section; it will list each payment you made towards the package and when the 0% promo for that payment expires.

For example, the $200 deposit payment I made 02/16/2013 shows the 0% has an expiration date of 08/27/2013 (my payment due date is the 27th of each month). The payment I made 06/28/2013 shows the 0% has an expiration date of 12/27/2013. I've already paid off these charges but they still show under the "Qualifying Promotional Financing" section with a $0 balance due.

Yeah I read that after I posted this...ill have to check out my statement. Is that just a "once in a while" thing or all the time?

Am I the only one trying to figure out what to do if I can't get FD for the resort I want???? I want POFQ and I will take any room category. If I can't get that than I was thinking about POR but I don't really want to stay there. POR royal rooms could be cool I guess but I am afraid the walk will be too far to everything. Preferred is already sold out for my dates. Then I was thinking a split stay between WL and the Dolphin (free with points) because I can't afford WL for the whole trip.

And I can call at 7 but I have to be done by 7:30 and if not then I can't call again until 8:30.....have to bring the kids to 2 different camps and they cannot be late because one has to catch a bus! AHHHHHHHHH! I need support!

I remember that in past year they released the FD and then added new dates to the offer for Dec. Anyone remember which dates were added after released? I am already booked for the first week of Dec and I am considering move it to checkin on the 12 to have the FD since we are 5 and it is better deal for us. I calculated and even with the increase in airfare will save us about $1,100 vs the RO.

I don't see any added dates on the mousesaver list but here's the link anyway of all the past discount offers.

I feel your pain! We want POFQ too!! I was able to get POFQ with FD for the September dates, but we had to move our trip to Nov! Hopefully I will get lucky this time too! We have only ever stayed at Pop, and lucky for us, we love it there! In fact Im a little nervous thinking my daughter will miss the larger than life things at Pop. Sooo..... with that being said, Pop and upgrading to reg dining will be our plan B, and we will be happy as lambs either way!!!!

Gonna be a busy Monday. I'm trying for free dining for our WDW trip. Our local railroad museum opens ticket sales for the North Pole Express. Disney on Ice tickets go on sale and I'm looking for front and center rink side. If I can score all 3 it is going to be an awesome Monday!

I'm looking for POFQ too. I'm already booked there just hoping to add free dining. The only way to beat the 1 bus stop IMO is to stay on the monorail and of course that's wayyyyy more expensive.

Anybody know where I can find a money tree????
I'd love to treat my brother/best friend and my 9 yr old niece to a trip to Disney with us in October. In the last year hes gotten divorced and had double shoulder surgery. He deserves a break. But I can't afford 2 trips. So Ill help him plan for next year. Hes going to yse his tax money for it. The last time they were in Disney they stayed at the resort for kids with cancer. I can't remember the name. My niece is a cancer survivor at 9.... crazy.
I need to find seeds though!! Lol

Question, as we are locked into our dates, with a checkin on the 9th dec, we already have the room and dining package at the normal rate, but naturally would like to have FD as well. I understand that we would have to have a split stay to get the FD with the second part of the trip having a check in on the 12th. Question is, does the total I'd inn credits get credited to us on the first check in, or only those credits to do with that checkin, then the next lot of credits on the second "checkin".

We have some bookings at the beginning of our trip that are two dining credits, as we worked out what days over the entire trip with ADR's of when we would use them.

Seems like a lot of people think that Disney will sell out of the FD.

Why is this? It looks like they still have FD for September. That deal has been riding for months now.

Sept. is difficult to sell out because schools don't really have breaks that early since they just started back up. FD as a whole will not sell out quickly, but certain resorts and room types will sell out easily. Oct-Dec has a lot of week long (or longer) breaks for schools, so some weeks will go faster than others, and some won't come close to selling out.

We are already booked there too! It sounds like a dream! I hope it works out!!! Im never one to wish my weekends away, but COME ON MONDAY!

I think that those that need a specific room type are the ones that are concerned. I'm not too concerned since I'm only staying at POP and I don't care about my room category. I just need the week for Thanksgiving but I still don't think it will sell out in the first few days.

Which sell out faster and which ones slower.

We are at Art of Animation - a suite room.
