OK I am going way off topic but I still get lost navigating the boards. Is there a location to post reservations you are going to cancel that you know are a hot item? My family decided 3 to 2 (the 2 being dd3 and me) to not do BOG and I will be canceling the ressie for November 3rd at 8:40pm for 5 people. Figured someone may want the heads up and I can hold it a little longer if someone wants to book it or isn't sure.

We booked before I ever knew this thread existed. We will go no matter what. FDing would be AWESOME and I've been excited over the prospect but it doesn't effect our trip either way. We planned to pay for food and if FDing doesn't come thru we still will Thanks Joe!

I'll Second this! I'm hoping to save money but I booked prior to discovering discounts as well so it would just be gravy.

This is very sweet, and is my second favorite post of the day--my first fave being the one that noted that I was not so fat, bald, and old as a reader had imagined...

Then again, I'm usually good with a beer. Two beers and I'll carry on a conversation with the dog.

Cheap date! I'm the same way, 1 beer I feel great, 2 beers I get a little tipsy, and 3 beers I'll talk to anyone, even a statue.

Quick question. My dates are sept 27-oct 2. I can get the first two nights at the current discount, but not the last few. Should I book just the first two nights today? Book all nights with a discount only for the first two? I am worried that if I wait I will end up paying rack rate for the first two nights if a New discount comes out.

You can book the first two nights under the discount, but then the last 3 nights will be under rack rate. It will have to be two separate reservations. Do you have AAA that you could use for a discount for the last 3 nights at all?

And....if you don't book the first two nights under discount while that promotion exists, you will lose out on it. Those dates are tricky.

Those are my next exact dates and I had to split up the dates/ressies because the first two nights are under the current mil discount and the last three nights are under the new mil discount...so we have to check out and check back in...but whatever, at least were saving money

ETA: you're talking free dining though....in which case, the dates that follow would be all set....as long as you check in during a valid date.

I thought you were talking room only, which I use, in which case what I said above applies.
