Maybe there will be more cancellations coming now that free dining is not going to be offered the last week of November 24th through December 11th.

We got free dining for December 1st - 8th. They can't take that away can they?

No you are all set. We have free dining for Nov 30-Dec 7.

There is no free dining being offered to the general public for those dates if you didn't receive an email pin code or one via snail mail.

Do you only get those pin offer if staying on select Disney Resort? We are DVC members so we don't get those but I'm wondering if we ever need to pay cash in the future, I would like to know what (if there's any pattern at all) resort usually gets the pin offer.

It's very random. We stay on property all the time and have never received one. My mother gets every single one!!!

My theory (and it is just a theory) is that they target families who have not been in a while. It's a way to say "hey, come on back!" We have not been to Disney since 2009, and we got one for this year and I have some friends locally who also travel to Disney very infrequently who got pins. There is no reason to offer free dining as an incentive for families that go every year, or every couple of years. They already know you will come back.

I think there may be some truth to that but my sons gf has been to Disney 3 times in the last 2 years and gets them all.

She goes with us whenever we go.

We have been to Disney over 20 times but there was a stretch of about 10 years we didn't go once until the last couple of years.

I used to think that was the case too, but I have seen some folks on here that say they get them every year sometimes more than once a year.... our first trip was in 2003 and you can see by my sig. how many times we have been since then... at the moment we have not been there for over 2 years (our long gap ever) and by the time we go in Dec it will be 2 and 1/2 years and we have never received a PIN

What are the dates? We have moved and I can't find our card. Thanks!
