Free dining NOt available at WL standard

I just wanted to let those of you know who are calling to get free dining for the Wilderness Lodge in a standard room that it is not available according to the CM that I just spoke with.

when I called on monday morning around 7:40am they had already given the rooms with the discount (my CM never said that they weren't on standard rms) but they did still have concergie level.

That's what I'm trying to find out now. I'm on hold trying to figure out what my options are. If concierge is the only thing left then we will either be paying for the DDP, or switching resorts.

The first CM that I talked to about it said that the Visa people got all the standard rooms.

I'll keep you posted and let you know what they tell me.

that's the same thing mine said, I was NOT going to give up FDDP (My original dates were starting 9/26) But we switched to CBR and I got an extra day and still saved $$, Good luck, WL was what I wanted!

Well...I just got off the phone and according to the CM that I spoke with, she said that she actually called Gues Services to see if they could tell her what's available since they are having computer issues at CRO. According to what Guest Services told her, they show no availability for anything right now. She also told me that they are having updates on their systems, which is what she THINKS is causing the problem. She recommended that I call back tonight to see if anything has changed.
I was looking at the Coronado Springs resort, but I don't know a whole lot about it, and it doesn't seem that popular here on the boards.

Last night we went to our AAA to book for free dining and they still had WL rooms (standard) available. We went with the POR because it was alot less.

Just got the call from my TA. Added FREE dinning to to exsiting WL, standard room, ressies for one of the rooms in our grand gathering 9/2-9/8.
