Free dining is here!!!

I had no idea FD would only be for vacations 5 nights+. I booked 4 nights, 5 days with airfare already. Is there no hope for me? (I really don't think changing my airfare for $100 per person is worth it.)

O.K. just got off the phone with DBIL and gave him the code...He said I will book when I get home from work

Maybe it is me, or the Disney nut in me, but I could neeeeeeeeeeever wait!

I booked bounceback and was so exited for free dining for my family I was up at 5 am. That is why I posted it first! and I did not even need it for myself!

I loooooooooooove my Free Dining!!!

I booked free dining on line last year and had no wait. I was done in about 15 minutes. Afterwards, I heard of the waits on the phone Phone is not the way to go, just because of the phone charges. never mind the loooong wait.

I couldn't find the link on disneyworld.com, but found it easily through the disneyworld.ca (Canadian page that then links to the US booking site. Go figure ) This will be our first time at a moderate so I'm really excited!

O.K. maybe I am totally pathetic, but I was soooooooooo exited to be the first one who posted this Did I say I was the first one to post this

I am pathetic like that...I have scoured the DIS feverishly for the last 2 years and I joined around free dining last year.

Once Robo answered my post, and I was completely in awe that he answered me

I told you that I am pathetic...but the DIS made such a huge impact on my Disney planning and I will be forever grateful to all DIS'ers!

I got it. Took a total of 16 minutes. Free Dining at Disney World Spetember 19 thru 26 All Star Movies.

Good Morning everyone from Alberta, Canada
It is just after 5 AM here, and I was my Disney CM's first call of the day
I was so worried, after hearing stories of hour long or more waits, that I'd be on hold forever, and that I may not get what I wanted (as our resort booking is also club level)
Well, no worries, it went as smooth as anything...he applied the code to both mine and my girlfriend's families reservation and we are both now confirmed for FREE DINING!!! I am so happy!!!
It is only 5:20, everything is set....it saved us $1,600.00.....and now I can even go back to bed for a couple of hours!
I was so excited, I just had to share my positive experience....Hopefully you'll all get what you are wanting too!

Im going solo..for my birthday...all the way from Australia!!!!(can you tell I'm excited?!?!?)

I just saved us $960 !!!! It would have been a litle more because I had to move our original ressie back 3 weeks which put us into value season, but all they had for CSR was the slightly more expensive water view room.
Oh well.....now I don't have to hope for an upgrade to water view, I already own it

Just booked 8 nights at the POP!

We're going next month, so I don't know if we'll really be able to swing another trip this year because of airfare, but I had to give it a try. We have two birthdays and and anniversary in Sept, so I really want to go then (but didn't want to wait that long when I booked the first trip ).

Everything worked out so smoothly - Monday is the one day I need to be up by 6:00, anyway; no problems getting through online - that I'm thinking it was meant to be.

If I hadn't booked the trip for next month, I wouldn't have been around these boards so much, and wouldn't know about the promotion (and all the ins and outs) until I saw it on t.v.

to the DISboards and everyone who's been sharing this info!

Now I just need good airfare, and for my husband to not think I've lost my mind!

My reservation now includes free dining!!!

It was very painless on the phone. I called 407-939-6244 (phone number I found on another thread), waited on hold for 10 minutes, and updated my existing reservation! In total, I was on the phone for 15 minutes! Much shorter time than I expected. Now I can actually go to work and be on time!

Thanks to all the DISers for all the tips and info!

I just added free dining to my existing reservation which is 9/30 to 10/8 with no problems. So long as your vacaction starts before free dining ends you will be able to book for the whole trip!
