free dining in the Spring....

Hello all-
Any news or rumors of free dining for 2017 yet?

Don't hold your breath. Free Dining has only been available in the Fall for the past few years.

Free Dining was originally a function of getting folks into the parks during the slower fall months. That slower months period has disappeared......a bit. Because the promotion became so popular Disney has slowly been pairing it down (making it more strict). I can't ever recall it being offered during the spring.............not a time of year Disney as ever had to worry about low crowds.

For those who are at Disney right now, there is a bounceback offer of free dining for next year, but general public free dining won't be announced (if they have it) until Mar/April next year.

Last time there was a public spring offer was 2012.

There's a current bounceback with a few available dates in spring and summer. Also there could be a few targeted PIN offers. But as far as general public offers it has been at least 4-5 years since there was any offer including spring dates.
