Free dining in Sept?

Just called and found out we have 35% off in Sept!! I think I heard somwhere that they were offering free dining in Sept but that we missed out on it already. Does anyone know if this is true and if not any thoughts on the chances that it may still happen?

It's true, they did already offer free dining for select dates in 2011. It had to be booked by Dec. 20th though. It's hard telling if they will offer it again for those time periods. If they were able to get a lot of bookings they might not have to.

That's what I was afraid of! Oh well. . We still got a pin code so I am still thrilled. Guess we can't have it all! Hopefully it wont be too crowded due to the offer. This will be our first trip in Sept. We have been twice in Jan so not too sure what to expect.

we have gone in sept the past 3 years in a row. we usually get there on labor day and then start the parks the day after. it is not crowded at all then. we use touringplans.com and look at their crowd calendar. it tells you which parks are the least crowded on any given day. every park we have been to the rides have a 5 minute wait. when we have gone to animal kingdom members of my party were able to go on kali and Everest 3 times in a row. the only ride we used fastpass for was toystory mania. you will defenetely need to make advanced dining reservations for restaurants. it is very hard during this time due to free dining but not impossible to get dining reservations. we were able to get our favorites including leceilier and ohanas, but were able to get last minute reservations at captains grill at the yacht club (delicious) and captain jacks in downtown disney.
