We had to change our dates to Dec 8-13 2013. I saw last year they offered free dining during that time. My question is if we stay at Pop Century and they offer free quick service dining can you upgrade to the regular dining where you get 1 table service meal a day? If so how do they figure the price? If it is free dining does the savings actually come out to the $50 some dollars a day? If I priced a package today and got a cost with dining and without would the difference be the amount we can figure on saving if it is offered?

Sorry for all the questions. Thanks for the help.

This will be our first Christmas trip.

Yes, if there's an offer to that effect, you can pay to upgrade the free plan. You would pay the difference between the two plans, per person, per night.

Free dining is unlikely, that is Pop Warner week this year. It's later this year because Thanksgiving is later.

We had friends do this in November and it was $10 per person per day (they were both adults, don't know if it is the same for children).

If you do get the free dining, yes, you can upgrade to the regular plan. It's $18 per adult (10 and over). Depending on how many people you have going, you should really do the numbers and see if it's worth moving up to a moderate and getting the full dining plan for free.

We're going in August on a free dining pin. There are four of us, all considered adults. When I priced the POP Century with an upgrade and then priced a moderate, the difference was less than $100 for six nights. We figured for that little bit extra, we'll "splurge" and go with a moderate resort this time. So POFQ it is!

Some people have received PIN codes, the dates are:

For arrivals most nights 8/25–10/2/13,
10/18–10/31/13, 11/11–11/23/13,
11/30–12/4/13 and 12/15–12/22/13.

I hate Pop Warner week. Ugh. Heading there for our honeymoon Dec 8-16. I am determined not to let it ruin my time. We were hoping for the nice quietness of the beginning of December, we always go around the same time. Were also hoping for FDP as it made a big difference last year in the food cost :(
Oh well, it's our honeymoon, I'm still planning on many great ADRs and spending a ton of money!

Why are some people receiving pin codes? Thanks!
