Free dining in 2009 question?????

We live in england and want to know when free dining will be announced- i heard it was around august? is this true and also where does it get announced and how would i book it?

any tips would be great

Free dining is traditionally announced in April and the dates of free dining vary year by year.but generally the free dining promotion is for August and Sept.So if you are looking for free dining in 2009, it will be announced the beginning of April 2009.This years free dining booking period is over.Once it is announced for next year , there will be a date you can call and book.It is available online for booking but not whenit is initially announced.

That is the case for the US, but not us UK based Disney peeps!

Free dining (if booking through Virgin Holidays - i assume its the same with the rest of them) is offered the year before - I am getting free dining this September 2008 and I booked the trip the very last day of the offer which was the 6th November 2007.

We get it a lot earlier than the US folks, which is why we eat up all the best best ADR's for that time of the year before they even know if they're gonna have the offer BWAH HA HA! (Im not going back for a while so we got 2 Le Cellier dinners for the honeymoon - although this was before they changed the menu so we shall see how the first dinner goes but thats another story...)

Anyway, sorry I cant be sure on when it starts (as I dont usually look until I get back from my September trip) but I think the offer goes on sale around August / September time

You can also keep an eye out here and on the resort board for people reporting bounce back offers with the free dining.
We are also hoping for free dining for next year as well!

You can be sure that posts on the "Codes and rates" portion of the resorts board will appear about 6.8 seconds after the announcement is made. Keep your eyes peeled!!
