Free Dining Help me with Resort?

Here is a little background. We are DVC owners have stayed at alot of diffrent resorts. We are going during free dining 2 adult and 2 girls both under 2. We are booked at POFQ. I would love to stay at the poly it is my dream resort. We have never stayed there. The other options are WL and AKL for the price. The poly is so much more expensive.

Love POfQ for the boat to DTD. Love the small resort. We like the pool.
Poly is not really in our price range. I would stay here one time in my life.
Wl stayed here in 2004 liked the resort. Liked the MK boat(before kids).
AKL never stayed here before.
If I would have to chose poly would win but it is so much more money.
Please list the pros and cons.

We had always wanted to stay at the Poly, too, and FINALLY took the plunge last September during free dining . And I must say.....what a GREAT CHOICE that was . Sure, it was quite a bit more money than our other favorite resort (WL), but we just decided it was time to try it. Of course other factors came into consideration....we not only got free dining, but we still had park tickets from previous stays so the only ticket we needed to buy was the 1 park day to be eligible for free dining . So with all that said, if the Poly is in any way doable, I say go for it . The only bad thing (if there IS a bad thing about the Poly ) is now the Poly is our #1 resort choice (even over WL). We are booked at the WL for our December trip, but I'm considering switching to the Poly because we just love it there . As far as pros for the Poly.....the resort is beautiful, convenient monorail access, you can see the castle from the pool, you can watch the fireworks from the beach, good restaurants, the list goes on and on. Other than the Poly and WL (which you've experienced yourself), I cannot comment on the others as we have not stayed there. But if you do choose the Poly, you will not be disappointed . Good luck in your decision. I'm sure you'll have a great trip no matter which resort you choose

As a DVC owner can you use your points for a Poly stay? Is that a good use of points? If so, stay where you are for free dining and use your points for another stay another time. Because you must pay rack rate to get free dining (rather than a discounted code rate), free dining is a great deal at a value, a pretty good deal at a moderate and not such a great deal at a deluxe.
