Free dining for Dec. 2013?

I work for a large Internet travel site and write a family discount travel blog for them, I haven't seen anything or heard anything from other travel industry friends that make me think they are totally canceling Free Dining for this timeframe yet. If they offer FD this year, those dates should be pretty close.

It is you who keeps that glimmer of hope inside me 411! Thank you for that. I totally understand that anything can change at any minute, but I would rather hang on to the hope as long as I possibly can!!! Fingers crossed for a July or August announcement!!!

Also hoping for FD for the first week of Dec! DH and I are going down to visit DD and, if FD is offered, we'll splurge on WL. If not, probably off site at Marriott Grand Vista .

We're flying in on thanksgiving and staying at POP. Hoping for a FD discount for POFQ or POR for the 1-7. Keeping my fingers crossed!

We check in on the 4th, so I'm really hoping a discount happens for that check in date. However, we budgeted for our trip without any discounts, so it won't effect us going or not. It would just be nice to have them...maybe we could upgrade.

Regardless...we will be happy as we will be at Disney.

Glad to see there is hope for fd. We have dvc but want to save our points for 2014 trip and fd would let us stay at mod for what we spend on the food anyway!

Keep the hope alive...

Disney just sent out PIN codes yesterday for free dining IN DECEMBER...I don't know the exact dates yet but I am hoping that I get a little extra pixie dust between then and now as we have reservations from Dec. 19 - Jan 2 this year again.

I haven't received a PIN code, but I am hoping for a post card of some sort to help out..

This would save us HUGE as a family of 5 staying in a Moderate Resort this year.

With those FD pin code emails coming out yesterday, it's a pretty safe bet that most, if not all, of these FD dates will drop for the general public this summer. So excited my predictions were so close! Yay!

I SOOOO hope your right with that!

Hubby and I are considering bunkering down in a Value if needed again this year as the Moderate is $$$$ for us. We staid at Pop last year and were very cramped with a family of 5. Kids bunkerd on bedspreads on the floor as the beds weren't big enough for us to share.

You can imagine they weren't too thrilled with that but we made it work lol

I am so excited for you!!! I really hope you are right about the GP!!! Cause I didn't get the pin. When I saw the dates, I instantly thought very close to what Disney411 said.

Our agent also said that this PIN that came out yesterday is very similar to the dates that was used last year for their bounceback offers that we didn't see while we were there.

I am just glad that these are now surfacing as I HOPE that while our agent is at Disney in Florida and we are at Disney in California that she will be on the phone with Disney adjusting our stay

This is one of the only ways it is making BOTH trips feasible for us this year. Now we already had reservations for both so we just had to buckle down and SAVE without these discounts

The Nemo suites have not been blacked out of any discounts, free dining or otherwise. If they were blacked out it would have that specific verbiage in the promo details as with the LM rooms and the campsites, for example. Some people have been able to apply the discount to those suites, BUT they are VERY limited for FD and RO discounts and with their popularity, I doubt that will change with the next round of discounts.

And, really, those suites are super cute and fun, but there is no way I would pay full price for those rooms or probably even settle for a room discount on them. Even if you got a RO it is only going to save you 15%. A free dining discount is going to save a probably close to $1000 and if you have more than 4 people in your family and/or the kids are over 10, you might even save closer to $2000. That's a lot of money to give up for a cute Nemo theme.

thanks for the reply TheDisney411. just trying to figure it all out. It will only be myself and wife and our 2 1/2 yr old daughter(she loves Nemo). so free dinning will save us about 450 or so and 15 % i had at about 350. i was thinking if we didnt get the FD but could use the 15% it would only be about 100 loss but would hopefully we would get the Nemo suite

Does anyone think these dates on the pin code will be released to the general public? I am kind of worried they wont because the august dates were not released to the general public.... We currently are booked for dec. 4 -10..... And no pin for me... I've checked... :-(. Do they keep sending them out on different days or do they do one send?
