Gosh this whole thing is so stressful and exciting! What am I gonna do after? Just panic over adrs next week, then flights, then fast passes. This is only the beginning of putting this vaca together!

Room only also has black out dates, but usually less than FD.

Thanks for this info--since it looks like my trip dates will be excluded from FD, I'll start hoping they'll still be part of a room only discount...or a magical pin! I have been closely examining anything that arrives in the mail with so much as a mickey return address label on it hoping for one

I would love to tell everyone its there! But its not. Yes, we have a special site, but there is nothing on there for any fall discount. Latest promo is the summer, which ends 08/27. We havent been told not to disclose any info. If I had been, I just wouldnt post..but Im posting and saying there is nothing there .....yet !!

I just called because I had to switch something on our rooms anyways, so while on the phone I asked and if anyone else had a question if you book with a DVC you will not need another deposit to add free dining, which is what someone told me earlier too, but I figured I'd ask. She also did say that there will be no way to modify online because it won't pull up any offers until it goes to everyone on the website, which is also what I remember reading on here. I asked if she heard anything about tomorrow and she just laughed and said that does seem to be the latest buzz, so not sure what that meant

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site, but have been following this thread all day. Hoping someone can help a newbie out. We are planning a trip for Nov. 7th-12th. If the FD dates are correct and it doesn't start until Nov. 8th can I book a 1 night stay for the 7th and then start my package with FD on the 8th? If so, could I do this online if there is no early release for DV card holders?

That could be, too. I booked through the Disney website and I double checked this morning to see if the modify option was still there. It was, and appears to be working fine. It's weird how it works for some and not others.

I think I remember from before that if you booked through a TA only the TA could make changes. This may be the reason some people don't have the modify option as they didn't make the original reservation.

I dont know who started the rumor about the PH and water parks. I have no idea if its true or not.....but....I suggest doing the math on this one, especially if youre at a deluxe. Adding the PH or WP or both could end up costing more than the room discount.

My wife is a TA and yes, we do have a special site - there's nothing new there as of a few minutes ago and no, we haven't been told to not reveal anything, because at this point we only have the same rumors as everyone else.
