Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

We may want to be prepared not to hear anything until August

Let’s take a look at the months in the previous few years that Disney has announced the free dining packages, the are as follows:

• August 2010
• May 2011
• August 2011
• March 2012
• July 2012
• May 2013
• August 2013
• May 2014

NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! If I have to wait until August to book for September, I will end up doing Universal instead. It's cheaper and I NEED free dining!!!!!!

Actually I panicked too soon!!! I looked on Mousesavers and the year free dining was announced in August, September had been previously announced in May...... WHEW!!!!!!!

I called Disney today... I do every week or so and have them mske sure I didn't miss a pin
Anyways the CM I spoke to was very helpful and talkative!
I was asking her about special offers and she all but said she thought there would be free dining... She said that by going on historical data that she thinks offers may become available soon! I know that this is not accurate and I could call right back and get an entirely different answer... But gives me hope!

I believe there are different dates because free dining was not always released for the entire season at once but rather a month at a time, sept/oct free dining has been released historically in May. The august release dates would have been for Nov/dec stays. correct me if i am wrong. Last year was awesome when they released the entiire stay dates at the same time

I went this year... I remember September came early but we were going in October and I got a pin offer late June... That wait was killer!!!

I need free dining too. Can't afford Disney without it, honestly. Plus, I need to know dates soon due to it being planned for my honeymoon, then flying out to Jamaica from Orlando after Disney.

Whew, thanks for saving my nerves. Our dates are 9/20-9/29. If free dining doesn't come out, we will have to do some extra savings, but I'm not giving up hope!

I remember last year being jealous ( we didn't go last year) because November/December was released so early unlike the previous year when October wasn't until july

I agree with alkc71, the only time they were released in August was when they split up early fall and late fall/winter. Sept/Oct was still released in Spring, while Nov/Dec was released in late summer. It kind of threw everyone for a loop when they released everything in May last year.. If they revert back to the old way, I'd still expect Sept/Oct to be released soon.

Not in this case. This is advice straight from Disney. When a member of your party cannot stay as long as the others in the same room, you are free to use their credits. In theory, the person leaving early could use all of their credits before they leave if they choose. If they do not, the remaining meals can be used by others in the room.

I NEED it too, and FAST! We had budgeted to save $500 a month to be able to save to pay for a rack rate trip in November, and if free dining became available, that extra money would be spending money. Well, we just found out that my oldest DS will be playing in the USSSA World Series in Gulf Shores, AL the last week of June, so now every bit of Disney money we were going to save from now until the end of June is going towards the World Series trip.

I can't handle not knowing!!
