OK, not sure if this will get me in trouble but look for Disney by Joe
Is black not on the boards anymore? I always looked forward to his FD threads
My first year I did Animal Kingdom Lodge with Deluxe dining and in order to feel like I was getting my monies worth I did all table service meals, which made it feel like I was in restaurants more then I was out enjoying the parks. The second time I did POR, which isn't as amazing as having animals right outside your window, but since most of your time at the resort is spent sleeping and you get plenty of animals at AK I feel the money saved doing a moderate far outweighs the benifits of spending the money for AKL, and we did the regular dining plan, which was ideal. We did plenty of Character meals and ate at some great restaurants but limited table service meals to 1 a day and it worked out much better.
We also did the Photopass Plus (Now Memory Maker) and I think that was well worth the money just in the free restaurant photos alone (not to mention having the ride photos available for you to get printed at home).
Also, if it makes sense for you, get a Disney Visa. If you dont want it as a credit card you can open an account at Chase and get a Disney Debit card free which has the benefits like a special photo op at Epcot for cardholders only, 10% off at certain stores within the park and advanced offers (like Free-Dining). Plus, if you look around you can usually find an offer for Chase to get money for opening the account (when I did it I think it was $200, but may have even been $300).
You will have to send him a friend requestThank you!!!
I know, I always have to think about it. I think he should have named it Disney by Black instead. LOL But his name or alias, whichever it may be, is Joe Black. I think his leaving had something to do with all the negativity on his posts, just because he may have been a little off with a date or resort not being included or whatever. People would get pretty nasty about it. Which, IMO, was crazy, because he always said to expect some slight differences, but the info was pretty close to right, again IMO.Oh gosh! I already 'like' that page. I had no idea it was his! haha
I know I got a letter from chase about 2 months ago saying $200 back of course my parents threw it out and the extra money was out the window just like that. I haven't seen anything higher than $100 since =/ of course I get 2 letters in the mail from capital one every week, yet the letter I actually want and can use from chase only came once.I tried googling the Chase Disney Debit Card, I didn't find any that had the $200-$300 bonus. Did you do it at the bank or online? Do you have a link?
Thanks!

I never thought about that.. That'd be so awesome!!! Thanks for the advice!!!!Call! The offer might still be out there. This happened to my husband, but he called and they found the offer under this name. It's worth a shot![]()

Usually the earlier part of the deal which could range anywhere from late August- early October comes out in April or May. If you are waiting for the later months. It is usually not until July. However, last year they surprised us and put all dates out at once.?so ppl are saying for the US wdw FD for fall might be announced around april-may?
Oh no!!! I don't think anyone wouldn't like Disney. He may feel like it's a child's place but hey everyone turns into a child in disney!Don't be worried about ruining his first time! In my opinion everything will fall into place and be magical! Any time spent in Disney is a great time. When I went in 2010 my first couple days I was so sick I thought I was going to die. But just being in the resort and by the pool made it seem so much better. That ended up being my best trip so far! Just being able to walk through the resort seeing all the signs and characters makes it amazing.
Thank you and I hope you guys have a magical time in Disney as well!!! Especially you're little girl! The bright smiles she'll have when seeing Pluto and Mickey are what it's all about. And hey like I keep saying to my bf, if he doesn't like it, he'll still have to hear me talk about it day in and day outlol! But don't worry about it! In the end they will both love it and even if something doesn't go the way you expected, I bet he'll still love and appreciate all the work you put into it for him!!
Happy travels!!![]()
