Free Dining Extended!

SO excited about this!! Only one of the days during our Oct trip were during the blackout time, so we worked it out by doing our first day as a room only ressie. FD saves my family just about $200/day so $1600 for our whole trip--woo hoo!!

Got 2 "free" days and Free dining @ POP century for 8 nights/9 days total for my family of 7!!! for $3990 -- can't beat it. Saved us about $700 over the discount code that we previously had applied. Soooooo excited! (We did upgrade to the regular dining plan).

That's like us, we are now going for 11 nights over Thanksgiving instead of 9 and are still saving $600+ more on our room and $300+ more on my grandparents' room, so we get 2 extra days and save almost $1000! This time for sure we will get over to see ICE!

Wonderful! I told my friends who were going T-giving week with us and they called and got more days and FD too! Yay for Disney magic

We have friends who while we aren't going with them, our trips overlap and we planeed to spend a day toghter. I am not sure of their dates exactly so I don't know if FD would work for them, but they are camping this week and her cell phone isn't on or isn't picking up so I can't reach them. They are gone through the weekend so there may be nothing left when they get back. My DD15 has been texting their DD15 in case they go somewhere where she gets reception. They can't say I didn't try.

You would have to give up the 40% off (pay rack rate) and add 2-day tickets (which you could use when you renew your APs).

It's not worth it for us either. The 40% off saves a LOT more. We bought the TIW card too, which helps with the table service meals. It payed for itself in June and now it will be pure savings for the rest of the year.

Ya I did the math and it's about a 700 hundered dollars more for the package. My wife and I aren't going to eat 700 hundered dollars in food in a week.

What day are you cheking in? if its not a blackout day it will be goof for you full stay.

Due to worknig the events, I will be checking in on either Dec. 4 or 5th, but my wife and son will be arriving on the 8th to stay thru the 12th. So It don't look good......

Sadly we could not get Pop or AS Movies (1st and 2nd choice in order of preference) but we did get to choose from AS Movies or AS Sports. Since its me. DH, and DS... AS Music was out, lol! They will LOVE AS Sports (it does look cool) and I will love being at WDW so everyone will be happy!

I am dreading the shared bus issue but for those of you having stayed at Pop and also one of the three "All Stars"... is there that much of a difference in wait times and crowd?

OP ~ thanks for posting this, I would have never thought to look for free dining into December!

I cannot wait to see WDW decorated for Christmas, ecspecially Magic Kingdom!

Today there was availability at Pop so they switched our reservation from AS Sports to Pop Century!
