Free Dining Email

Ok we got a free dining email the other day so I figured I'd ask (although I think I know the answer) we are staying at Bay Lake on points during the time for free dining. Is DVC unable to get this?

You can not have free dining and stay on points with DVC.

Free dining is only available for rack rate room reservations. Likely not a deal any better than the 40% of room rates.

40% off a Deluxe during value season at $240 (AKL and WL) is $96. You'd need to be a family of four or more for dining to be better. There are 3 of us so free dining is only worth $90 per night (2 adults and a child).

Move down to a moderate and free dining becomes more lucrative I suppose.

Anyway, if you're on points it doesn't matter.

You would have to cancel your points reservation and book the free dining package through CRO and pay rack rate for the room. BLT studios start at $385 per night plus tax (standard view). Plus you have to buy a minimum of a 2 day ticket per person.
