So I'll probably be the only person to say I'm totally disappointed about free dining

I have to go to a convention from June 30 - July 4 at the Hilton WDW. So I still get to go this year(2 weeks in fact) but I LOVED LOVED LOVED free dining last year.

I guess I'll just start the rumours for 2009......

So are you saying we will be able to get the DDP for free? I thought it was the basic for free. Plus I see they have not listed the deluxe resorts in the offer. Does this mean they are just not releasing rooms yet or not at all?

The DDP is free. The DxDp is available for $32/day/person, which is the difference between the DDP and DxDp.

okay, I've got it. I had all my ddp and dxdp mixed up. So you can get the ddp for free or upgrade to the dxdp if you want.

Really makes no difference, my boss already told me I can't have anytime off during those weeks anyway....

I'm afraid not. Last year was Aug 26 to Sep 22. Although I guess technically speaking if you checked in on Sep 22 you could get the package up to Oct 6.

Quick question, can you book the package on line or do you have to call into Disney reservations? We are looking at going from August 23 to Sept 6
