Free Dining Bounceback offer available from 8/19/12 - 9/27/12

Just above jjsdad reports they were at wdw week of aug 22-29, same as me, and called earlier this week on 9/19 and was allowed to book the bounceback. That latest report from jjsdad prompted me to try this evening.

I booked while I was there. But have seen post of others that have been able to do it. They just had to verify that you were indeed there. Sorry they didn't do it for you.

I tried to book it the day we checked in and the CM said he couldn't book 2 rooms because my oldest would be 18 and so he'd have to split everything in to 2 reservation numbers, 2 deposits, 2 dining credit pools....etc. He said they would "try" to get us in the same building/floor...etc but since he'd be 18 they could no longer guarantee it. Odd thing is that he 'rooms' with my 2 younger sons who are under 10.....so the 2 separate rooms/dining credits....etc won't work. If I book my 18 year old his own room....well that's a lot more since we'd still need 2 connecting for my 2 dds and 2 ds's.

I called back and booked it the other way but after 4 days at the parks we called and cancelled it. It's way too hot for us in September and almost everyone we encountered was irritated, maybe because of the heat? Oh well, we'll see if we can't get a FDing ressie next year if they come out with a code for October or November, if not....we may just get a room only.

I am checking in to see if the bounceback dates have changed for mid-late 2012. From what I see here it's still for Aug & Sep 2012.

I was lucky enough to be at Pop this past August when free dining bounceback was offered. I was there for two weeks and called multiple times only to be told bounceback was unavailable.

Then one day, the Bounceback offer was on the dresser when we retutrned to the room.

Could this be a clue as to what dates will be offered to the general public? I would assume they will use the same dates for free dining, no?

The 2010 bounceback dates started a week earlier than the general public offer ended up starting. I guess they had enough rooms booked already that they didn't feel the need to start it as early. Basically, we have to wait and see. It is a clue to the dates but in no way can you bank on it. If you need the General Public free dining promotion in order to be able to afford the trip or you won't go without it then definitely do NOT book flights based on the bounceback dates.

I second this. Bounceback, UK, Canadian an even PIN dates seem to never align up to be the same. We have even seen a one day difference. Again, we will have to wait and see
