FREE Dining Bounce Back information

I just got back home on Sunday EVening from Free Dining.
We really Enjoyed our Dining Choices.
We stayed at POFQ-Very nice Resort.

What I wanted to create this thread for is to let
others who are about to go for FD--and are looking
for information on 2009 FD Bounce Back offer.
The Offer is there but we were not told anything about it--
there were no flyers in our room, nothing on the Disney TV--
nothing.
Since I know from the Disboards that there definately was a FD BB
I went up to the Guest Services and ask for the information,
and was given the flyer.
So, if you don't receive the information on FD BB for next year,
go ahead and ask--I can't believe how hush-hush they were this
trip because last years trip, I was told all about it whenever I
first checked in.
Plus be ready when booking your package because they we
check to make sure you are still check in to your resort--
they ask for your present package # so they can confirm that your
are indeed still a guest. Also be ready with the Code that is given on
the flyer. I hope this helps others who want to book again for next
FD 2009.

Well I got it I stayed at the Pop and it was indeed in my room go POP go POP and what a deal!! Thanks OP,because this was my first visit to WDW Sept4-10th and if I had not been a member of this great board I would have not known a thing about the bounce back!

I stayed at PO riverside and the brochure was not in my room. My husband tried to make res. for next year at the front desk and they told him he would have to get the flyer from housekeeping. He called housekeeping and they brought him the flyer and then he was able to make res. for next year.

I wonder if maybe some people are taking the brochure home with them, and housekeeping doesn't notice it's missing when they do the rooms?

I'm surprised they don't just stuff the brochure in with the packet when you check in...

Oh My !I am guilty I took my bounce back brouchere home ::cop: Just because when I bounced back and called from my room I wrote my bounce back ressie on the brouchere,so if you are staying in the 9300 building in the 80's building at the POP I got it,so guys I guess it is wise to look in your room and if not ask mousekeeping!

We were in POR last week and didn't get the flyer either . Since I knew about it from the boards, I called the front desk on our check out day and was able to book. Don't know if we will go yet, but thought I'd book anyway so I don't have to wait until April to book if we do decide to go.

We spent 8 nights at AS Music and we never saw a flyer. I didn't want to book a BB, but I did want to get the flyer to bring home to a friend with an upcoming trip to give her a head's up on the deal.

I went to the front desk and asked for the flyer. They said they didn't have any and that I'd have to ask mousekeeping for one. I left a note for mousekeeping, and they didn't leave one. It was our last day so I didn't pursue it any further than that, but I can see how people miss out on the opportunity to book a BB trip if the flyer isn't in their room and if they have no idea that there is indeed an opportunity to book again with a discount.

I just returned on Sunday and I was able to book 2 rooms at Pop for Free Dining Bounceback for next September. There was a flyer in my room and I left it for the next person. I'm so excited. I do have a question, though.

Does anyone know if we can upgrade to the DxDDP by paying the difference? I think we'll probably do this if we can. Thanks.

I was so happy to see this posted on the boards. My in-laws are at WDW now at CBR. They did not have a flyer in their room but I called them and told them where to check and they were able to book all of us back next Sept for Free DDP! Woohoo!

I was at POP at the end of August. We did receive the flyer and booked BB for last week of August next year. I can't believe when people asked at the front desk they couldn't help them. It seems very strange to leave an offer like this totally up to housekeeping.

I was baffled myself and if I were booking a bounceback I would have stayed at that front desk until it was a done deal. LOL

But they did say that the mousekeepers have the flyers and that they are the ones to contact if you need a flyer.

You can add the Deluxe to the bounce back I bounce back and was given the chance to upgrade to the deluxe for myself and my 2yr old well he will be 3 next year trying to figure out how I am going to use the credits,we had more than enough food on the basic plan,but I am thinking next year we are going to BALL OUT hit some signatures,and some shows, I am so greatful for all of you guys on this board,I had my first WDW trip Sept 4th-10th and with all of the knowledge that I learned on here, you would have thought I had been to WDW a million times I really had it going on! from the best restaurants,to the times to eat,how to get around and the Bounce Back I mean everything was PERFECT THANKS TO MY DIS FAMILY!!!!

You have been able to upgrade in the past so I don't see why next year would be any different. Next week I will be looking for my bounce back flier but last year at POP it was left in room if it isn't there I'll check Mousekeeping

If it's anything like this year, yes you can pay the difference and upgrade to deluxe. We did it for our trip last month and though it was such a good deal. We got to experience many restaurants and had a great time.

I don't qualify for BB because I wasn't there this year during FD. There was a BB offer when we were there in May for the free park hopping, water parks and more add on, but we decided not to get it at the time.

The reason I asked about the dates is because we are planning on going next year for our 22nd anniversary(October 3) and I was hoping it was extended at least until then.

That's a typo I'm sure. The BB dates for next year begin on August 23, 2009.
