free dining be for general public soon?

I can't wait till it will be open for us non DV owners. Looking forward to go in September for our wedding anniversary. :yay: I even signed up for World of Walt to send me an email when it goes to the public. So let the waiting begin. :hourglass

THanks,

If we are staying from 8/11 to 8/21, how would we get the discount? We are already booked and there are two different discounts for that time period?

one ends the 14th the other starts the 15th.

You simply call Disney Reservations and ask them to apply the new room only codes to the rest of your vacation dates.

I would get a disney visa but I am from Canada and we can't apply.

Deb.

this year may be different but really its not that much of a jump. In the real non Disney fan world there aren't that many people calling day 1 to book a Disney visa deal. Very few if any at all of the resorts fill up on the visa offer.

Hopefully that makes you feel a little better. :goodvibes

You may have to break your reservation into two bookings, one under each offer. If so, you'll technically have to check out and back in during your stay, but they should be able to link the reservations so you can stay in the same room.

They won't have to do 2 reservations to apply those room only discounts.

News to me. I've never stayed during a time when two room-only offers applied back-to-back, so I can't speak from personal experience. However, I have definitely had to split stays when two package offers applied, and also when my stay included dates covered by a room-only offer and dates with no discount.

How do you know this?

I was a travel agent for years and I've done it personally too :-) If the OP was going to try to apply a free dining discount, or a Stay/Play/Dine or a Kids Stay & Play or a 7/4, to part of the stay and a room only discount to another part of the stay, then yes, they would have to rebook and have 2 different reservations. But with 2 sets of room only promo codes the CM should be able to go in and apply the individual RO codes to each date on the reservation.

I know what you mean. If we could have it, I would so apply for a Disney Visa, if for no other reason than to have Mickey on my credit card!! LOL:rotfl2:
