Free Dining at Value

Do you know how to upgrade to the regular DDP instead of getting free quick service dining at value resorts. We are looking at staying at a value resort in order to save costs but want to look at the difference of upgrading to regular DDP over QDDP

Your travel agent should be able to do this for you.

Or if you are calling Disney, then tell them that you want to upgrade the dining plan and tell them which one you would like.

We booked at a value resort and upgraded to the DP we are a family of 4, dh, me ds12 and ds8, the price overall went up right at $200.

I believe its $10 a day for adults & $2 a day per child. We thought it was well worth the cost.

Why is the peak season cheaper than the regular season? I thought it would be the other way around?

we upgraded to ddp from qsdp during free dining cost was 10.00 per person per day it was 60.00 for each of us to upgrade for our stay

We always upgrade to the Deluxe Plan. We do alot of 2 table meals. It is just DH and I so we feel that it is worth it not to worry about what we eat and to get into the nicer resturaunts.

Sylvia in MN I think the upgrade is $44.00 per person per day. Works well for us because we can get breakfast and a great dinner.

Because you're talking about an upgrade, not the actual cost.

During peak season, the regular DDP is MORE expensive. So to upgrade that plan to deluxe will cost less - because the regular plan is worth more.

You can upgrade to the regular plan and just pay the difference. We did it this past August and we thought it was worth the little bit extra.
