Hi

I didn't even know UK bookings were eligible for this!! Has anyone done it? When is it released and is it out every year??

Any help or tips greatly appreciated.

Many many thanks:cheer2:

i'm waiting for the free dining to come out on the US site as it works out cheaper for us.
for loads of useful info check out the restaurants board here on the dis. there's a sub board specifically for the dining plan.

It came out last August for this August. We booked to go on 24th August this year. We booked direct with disneyworld.co.uk including flights.

We went in 2007 and again went with the free dining. It is pretty good, although this year you have to pay the gratuity and do not get a starter included.

We are eating at Jiko, Flying Fish, Yatchsmans Steakhouse, Cape May, Ohanas, Grand Floridian Cafe, Tuttu Italia.

We just paid the £120 deposit per person last August to reserve the holiday.

Happy planning

the UK offer ran out a few months ago, but i know virgin and TCD are offering some variety on it at the mo:

i'm personally waiting for the US site to offer it, they've offered it in late august to late september for the past 3 years or so, just waiting to see if they offer it this year. rumours are that it'll be open for booking to the general public sometime around the 9th april for a couple of months.

Hey what prompt answers!! Thanks:thumbsup2

I am hoping to book for summer 2010 and am pretty flexible with dates...guess it will be out summer at the earliest then?

we booked last sept for this year and I cant wait, we upgraded from the quick service to regular dining plan

Kathryn it really depends on what you mean by summer!Disney use Free Dining to fill hotels in the quieter periods,I think this year was mid August until the end of September. What you get is based on where you are willing to stay, the US have normally been able to get it for Values but I'm not sure that that will be the case this year. The UK offer this year was the new Quick Service for Moderates -CBR,CSR,Por & Basic DDP for OKW & SSR-this one was a very good deal. For anyone that stays on-site & intends to eat mainly at WDW I would highly recommend the DDP as the prices for food were quite high compared to off-site.Be warned though it does take alot of planning if your are using TS credits, you really have to make ADR's to get good times, which we found quite restrictive.
HTH SD:thumbsup2

I believe that there is a rumour that the Free Dining may be offered from August 16th.....
