Free dining and room ?

We booked and paid for our package over a month. One of the people in our room decided last week to get his own room and he decided to leave earlier than planned. Can we move his free dining to that reservation? He is afraid to ask Disney and frankly so am I. I am afraid now we will all be out our free dining. (especially since he waited till free dining expired to change plans) He still listed on our reservation etc. In essence he has 2 rooms. Free dining says we all have to check in and leave together. Any ideas or thoughts?

No he can't get free dining on his room. He could still stay on your room for his dining credits.

If he insists on having his own room why couldn't he just make another room only reservation (if available) in his name and stay on your package for free dining and park tickets...this would end up costing him more in the long run, but he would be able to have his own room and leave when he wants (plus you would not risk loosing everyone else's free dining). Disney does not check to see if part of your party leaves early...however, I think they must all be present at check in.
