Free dining and candlight procession

Can anyone explain to me how this works? I just read about the candlelight procession and it sounds like something I'd really enjoy. We are going in Dec. and already have reservations at the San Angel Inn one night, which is one of the restaurants offering the package. However, we are using free dining. Is there an additional charge to secure a seat for the processional? If so, what is it? (I couldn't find it on the DIS site.) Can we just add the package onto our existing reservation? Thanks!

We the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package last year (2007) on Christmas eve. We ate @The Biergarten in Germany! We all (multi-generational group 9yo-62yo) enjoyed it very much! Our narrator was Gary Senise. You have to book the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package as such...you cannot convert another ADR to it. They only sell so many dinner packages because with your package you get guaranteed seating at the America pavilion for the show. You can see the show without the package...you may not get a seat but you'll be able to at least hear it from outside the theater. Sorry don't know how it works with he DDP as we paid OOP. Hope this helps

No additional charge, but you must call and book the package. It may not be available for the night you want to go.
You can't add it to the existing reservation, they'd have to cancel that and book the package.

If you're on the regular dining plan, note that you won't get an appetizer with the CP package.

There is no additional charge and it counts as only 1 table service credit per person. The reservation does require a credit card. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy, if you are a no-show or if you cancel after the 48 hour mark, they will charge the credit card used to secure the reservation. If you attend, your credit card will not be charged at all.

If you do choose to attend, be sure to get to the reserved seating line soon after your meal. We made the mistake of waiting too long, and ended up at the end of a VERY long line of people with the reserved seating badges. Our seats were near the back.

It is a very beautiful and spiritual presentation, I hope you'll be able to get reservations .
