I have a room booked with the bounceback for myself and my niece. Now my sister won't let her miss that much school next year.

Can I change the reservation and add a friend and her son? What do I do if they don't want to stay for the full 14 nights?

Has anyone done this before?

I have added DS to my reservation for free dining. DH and I went for 8 days and DS came down for 4 days. He received everything we did including 8 day park tickets and 8 day dining. Every person on the reservation gets all that is included in the package even if they aren't there the entire time.

Shouldn't be a problem to add them. You would get dining credits for them for all 14 nights - you can't add a partial dining plan. Because it's free dining, you can enjoy all those extra credits after they leave.

They'd also have to get the same type and length of park ticket as everyone else on the reservation.

What you can do to save on their tickets, though, is to purchase the level/days of tickets THEY will need for everyone on your reservation - friend, her son, and you. Then, after you arrive and use your pass to enter one park at least once, go to Guest Relations and upgrade just YOUR park pass to the number of days/features YOU wanted originally.

Thanks, I thought I remember reading a post about it last year, but didn't think I would ever need to know about it!
