If they offer FD - Yeah, but I will take a resort discount too but we are at POFQ so I wouldn't mind something for the moderates either.

Actually, I find I am a very grateful person, so which ever they want to offer, i will run with it! I just don't want to change resorts....

I am fully aware of how to check to see if a room that I want is available. I suppose I was questioning your 50% quote as I'm not sure how you have computed the number of rooms to figure out your 50%.

No, you're correct. They are just talking about checking if a room TYPE (Standard, preferred, pool view, etc.) is available at a particular resort. You can't check specific rooms. Those get assigned a few days before arrival.

If you are looking at CSR the reason they are booked is because there are conventions being held there. They may have rooms set aside for the convention guests and waiting to see how many book. I found this on the Coronado Springs Resort thread under Resorts here on disboards.com. I had reservations there but the rest of my party couldn't get rooms so we switched resorts to POR.

I am from the UK and free dining is being released on April 24th, however specific dates have not been confirmed - I work somewhere with an in store travel agent (not saying which one!) and they received confirmation today along with displays ready to go!

Yes. 2012 was August 25th.

Check in date. Only first night needs to be within range.

First check in day. For example, if FD is offered from sept 5-sept 29, you can check in on sept 29 and still get FD for your entire stay. It's up to a certain amount of days, I can't remember if it's 10 or 14?

Indeed you are getting free dining out into 2015 actually. The UK offers are quite different from ours. Yours last longer, but have more stipulations. I suppose it all works out in the end.

In 2011 it was offered with check in dates starting 8/19
In 2012 it was offered with check in dates starting 8/25
In 2013 it wasnt offered for any check in dates for August
