I'm glad to hear that a couple got it but why can neither of them tell us their dates when asked. I know everyone thinks that it's not a hoax but a couple basic questions have been asked of wdwmaw but not answered & they have posted since.

I'll ask again just in case they were overlooked, I know it happens with so many posts.

wdwmaw what are your dates & were you provided with a range and did you have to go with quick service or did you upgrade to regular?

Could be! I don't remember ever seeing an actual code on my email though? Of course that could just be because I don't remember! LOL

there normally is a code I think or something they plug in to pull up the offer

So that's 2 that said they've gotten it, and everyone else told no. Wonder if those lucky 2 got the same CM? I'll try in my way to work, I don't have enough time to call now.

Sad that POR is excluded, if that's true. I was looking forward to my king bed w/ the Murphy bed for DD, it looks so cute! I guess we'll take CBR if that's the case, and hope they finish the refurb w/ queen beds by Sept!

How do you get CM's on the phone so quickly? How do you respond to the prompts? Since I am modifying an existing reservation I wasn't even sure how to answer the prompts. Is there a way I can skip them altogether to get straight through to a CM?

I'm actually more upset at the thought of POR being excluded than having to wait another day to possibly book.

Well given the number of people on here that prebooked POR it wouldn't be a surprise it was excluded. Why offer FD when hotel is almost booked without it.

Deja Vu... Last year I remember a couple random people getting FD the day we were expecting it to be released...

And as for the quote above does that mean they are releasing it to everyone at the same time again? That went so well last year

Not the way she implied it to me. She clarified that it would be released generally on the 7th, but when I asked her to check again for Visa holders, she said "no, but call tomorrow." Her tone made me feel comfortable, there was good reason to call tomorrow.

What if the CM's were told to not give it until we had a code from Chase? And the 2 people who got it, their CM didn't get the memo.

Waited about 20 minutes, got a cranky CM who said, "NO, there is NO free dining. People are hearing this from the disboards, but you know what? People on there can post whatever they want and it doesn't make it true. You have to see it on DISNEY. WORLD. DOT. COM for it to be true." Ok, lady.


You must have gotten the same CM that I did. Very cranky older woman. Not good for a customer service rep at all. I should have completed the survey but was just in a hurry to get off the phone with her and try to call back and get someone else and maybe have better luck. No such luck though.

On my second call! Booked CBR with Visa free dining. Port Orleans excluded. Only CSR and CBR included. Didn't get all the dates. Have to go to work. Good luck everyone!

So it's definitely Visa only today? I mean if you get anyone at all that can book it for you?

If POR and AoA are excluded.. That pretty much excludes all affordable options for families of 5 Maybe I can do ASM family suites?

Try a family of 6......with a child who is now an adult we can't even be guaranteed connecting rooms anymore if we book Value so we either take the chance and have 2 of our kids (albeit one adult) in a separate room and possibly separate building or All Stars (which we aren't a fan of), and the Cabins. I wish AOA was included . Did you check the prices for the Junior Suite at one of the Mods? It was at Coronado Springs. We've never stayed Moderate so not sure if those are even included in discounts?

There is a 3 letter code listed that is linked with FD, at least there was last year. I believe mine was RDV for POP. I upgraded from QS to reg DP.

Quick question, if POR is not included, does CBR have queen beds? I may have to switch to either CBR or CSR.

Currently CBR still has double beds...they are supposedly moving to Queen, and some have posted that they started the change last week (while others have said they called and asked and it wasn't started yet). I would be reluctant to book there until I knew that I would get a Queen for sure....if the resort is only half done I'd not want to risk being in the "old" part when we arrived, because I doubt they'd move us just for the larger beds. But, there is no way we'd be comfortable in doubles.

Have called twice and gotten the same response from two different people, No & No. I can't imagine why someone would say they got it when they didn't...but it sure is frustrating when you are the one being told no. Trying yet again would make me feel like the child who keeps asking their parent the same thing hoping they will change their answer...lol!

I am upset about the possibility of POR being excluded as well. We usually get two rooms at POP for my family of 7, but this time my parents are coming with us because of my dad's retirement! We could have slept in two rooms at POR AB whereas at POP we are going to have to get 3 and upgrade dining if it comes out. In the past I have booked ahead of the announcement, but this year I have gone cold turkey and struggling to stay on the wagon, so to speak.

I don't have the log in but did anyone check the credit card site since 7am.... my wife has all the stuff...
plus I have a sneaky idea what if someone calls Disney visa and just say this

" I need the code or program ID for the fall 2014 free dining"

u may get a csr that just gives it to you... then we can try booking with that

wdwmax may have gotten it and I may know how they did it
I bet this is already setup and they can book.... prolly was supposed to go out today.... then they changed the dates.. but never disabled access to the deal I the computer... if you had the code or program id the cast member may just think that it is a go and book it for you
