Have you tried retrieving your reservations in your My Disney Experience account? That way you would not have to wait for the email!

I think he/she is waiting for the email to see if there is a code for the rest of us. The code wont show up in MDE.

I just want to comment on the fact that every CM we spoke to this morning ( we made four calls between us) was extremely cheerful and light hearted.
None were cranky, even though they were being flooded with calls for a promo that hasn't come out.

So hats off to the CMs for being so nice!!! (even though they are all probably laughing their butts off at us!!!)

The two that I spoke with were extremely nice. One said the the only offers they have out now run through August.
My husband also said they must be laughing at all us crazy people!!

Still on the phone. The CM is very nice and checking for any pin codes for me. However, she says there will be a "broad release" (her phrase) of free dining on May 7th. Hmmm. I've never heard of a CM giving a date like that before. She's very nice though…..

At the end I asked again if she could double check again for Visa holders and she told me "nothing today but call back tomorrow." Here we go again tomorrow.

I bet it is going to go straight to GP release. They are kind of getting away from deals with the DV , wish they gave more benefits for having it. I will be checking on here tomorrow though....even though I still don't have my replacement card (although I really should call DV and tell them to let any Disney charges still go through on the old card number LOL).

I didn't write his name down but he was the best and most knowlegable person I have spoken to in a long time.

Waited about 20 minutes, got a cranky CM who said, "NO, there is NO free dining. People are hearing this from the disboards, but you know what? People on there can post whatever they want and it doesn't make it true. You have to see it on DISNEY. WORLD. DOT. COM for it to be true." Ok, lady.

She should have been briefed when she got hired that it was a high stress job when discounts were rumored or released......in a CS job, you can't let your bad day bleed over in to the customer's day. I hope she had a cup of coffee after your call and got nicer LOL

If that one, or two people, now, that say they have gotten it, but shouldn't have, when Disney finds out, will they rescind it? Or as long as they have confirmations, will they have to honor it?

Deja Vu... Last year I remember a couple random people getting FD the day we were expecting it to be released...

And as for the quote above does that mean they are releasing it to everyone at the same time again (isn't that what happened last year too? Black gave us two dates but then everything was offered the same day? More Deja vu)

Was told "not today". CM was nice - said there must be a rumor b/c the que is over 250!!

Not trying to start trouble, but........WDWMAW is not the only poster to say they rec'd FD. lovesplashmountain & 1 other (forgot name) also said they rec'd it. Hmmm...........

Guess I'll just keep an eye on this thread throughout the day just in case it ends up being released or something!

I'm actually more upset at the thought of POR being excluded than having to wait another day to possibly book.

Seriously though, the "rumored" date given is ALWAYS the public date. As you know, we always try to put out a Visa date and that one is the most shaky of all the information. Last August Visa just plain old didn't happen....while all of the "rumored" information was on target.

I don't see that happening this time around, but it's clear they shuffled things up at the 11th hour. Overtime is today AND tomorrow....but with the Mine Train events, perhaps it's understandable not to stack the deck too high.
