I was skimming the past 120+ pages of this thread and it seems that some people (NON - DV Holders) are able to book their FD now?

I may have misinterpreted what was being said so I just wanted to ask here for the latest scoop.

How do I go about adding Magical Express back!? I don't see it listed anymore, and I don't see a place to add it. Maybe just issues with the site itself right now?

I don't remember ever seen Magical Express on the MDE reservation - only on the emailed copy.

What are you looking at? I haven't gotten my email confirmation yet but when I log into MDE I don't see Magical Express listed for my package but I am supposed to have it. I'm looking on the actual website, not the mobile app.

Someone posted in the late morning about being on hold for 4 hrs and 10mins!!! I can't imagine!! Makes my 30 mins (7am-exactly 7:30) seem like a pitence. Thankful my wait was not long, my CM friendly and efficient, got what I wanted and I have my confirmation email and MDE is updated!

Hi. First time poster here. I wasn't able to call this morning, first I couldn't get through, then I was busy for the day. Now, I call and get this CM named Keith. I swear, every single thing he quoted me was almost $1,000 higher than my base rate estimates (based on rack rate/disney website costs), and he kept pushing me to keep my MM package at POR. Did anyone else experience this? I'm so confused. Even last year, when I got POR on free dining, I did it online and I'm pretty sure I paid rack rate plus park tickets only. Thanks.

I called to see what I could get. I also booked the MM deal at POR a while back. I wanted to see if the RO deal would save me any $$. It would have cost me more though. It was what I figured, but I had to call to make sure the RO deal was just 20% for my dates. You have to remember the MM package also gave you 2 days of park tickets for free. That's where our big savings came from. Even if POR was included, I would have only saved $200 with FD (I want DxDDP). The MM special was a pretty good deal for us.

I can see the reservation in MDE but without any $$ values. I have not received my email yet and I was one of the 'lucky' ones that was able to get in first thing this morning and was done by 7:20am. So...should I be concerned about no email? I have read others had theirs within an hour and I'm sitting here 9 hours later and no email

So anyone else still waiting on an email confirmation?

ok, maybe I am mistaken then, and it never showed on MDE...? I have received my newest email CF, and it does have it on there from my previous booking. However, I did add two extra nights on the end of my stay, so it shows us needing ME 2 days before we do now.

Guess I'll have to call ....... again.....

We will be looking into renting points at some point, but FD and moderates work for us now. I would like to stay at a deluxe someday and point renting looks to be the best way. And we are hearing FD will eventually go away. I am stuck in an airport now because DH and I took a voluntary bump -- for $800 in vouchers! First FD and now almost free flights!!!

No! It used to be there, it just disappeared I dunno why oh and u dun need to call today for ME, no point being on hold for something that could be fixed later when the lines are not crazy

thank you, thank you, thank you so much for being so awesome about all this. What you and others have shared has helped so many people plan a wonderful and affordable vacation. I'm excited to be able to pay this forward somehow...

What I like about free dining is that I don't feel like I have to constantly be telling my son (and myself) to pick something less expensive. I stay in a value resort and do the QS and will pay out of pocket for one character meal. We don't ever like spending a lot of time eating while on vacation because there's sooooo much fun to be had. I guess it's all back to personal preference. I don't like to eat at expensive restaurants anytime and so quick service is fine for us and the discounts on the value resorts is not as significant as on the more expensive resorts. I have friends who rent points and love it, for us, it was more expensive than staying in a value, which is fine with us. I was going to go anyway and see the Mouse, now I'll get some free meals, win-win. Just my 2 cents worth.

Yes, there is a great mental benefit of feeling like my whole trip is paid for (because of FD) except tips before I go. Letting my kids (of which there are five) order what they want and not have to spilt meals like we normally do is a real treat for all of us. Always a great deal for my family.

Now after telling me that Pop and AoA are moderates, she's trying to say CBR is not included. Did anyone else get that? HELP!?!
