At least mine doesn't try to change things.
He will be happy to go, and he likes free dining, and he enjoys the parks and seeing the kids enjoy stuff.
He just, for some reason...and I know this is hard to believe...doesn't like to do things like talk about dining menus 6 months out or look at pics of a resort 4 moths ahead of time. :confused3

I'm so sorry. Mine is just as excited about going as I am. In fact he was the one pushing for us to go back (just left in December).

Room booked....check:thumbsup2 FD booked......check:thumbsup2 keeping it a secret from our son for the next 128 days???????????:worried: let's hope so:rolleyes1

Thanks to everyone for the advice about ASMo, the CM put a request in for the room we wanted closest to ASMu buses. You all are the best!:dance3::banana::love::wizard:

:rotfl2:

All of the husband posts are crackin' me up! My DH loves to talk about our trips. He listens to park music on some phone app he has every evening, and he makes me guess what park/show it is from. He makes fun of me if I get it wrong. :rotfl: I'm a lucky, lucky girl.

My husband is the same! We have great guys!:yay::love:

Uhh yea I'm bowing out of this little side conversation.

Crazy as it may seem, when I was actually married, I was the one going crazy over all the bookings and she was like "yea whatever, just get us there."

:rotfl2:

I used them our first trip and they got the free dining applied the day it became available. I guess it depends on your individual TA though but I would think most if not all are very experienced adding discounts/promos to their clients res.

ETA I used Small World Vacations (if that is who you mean).

Thanks for info. Yes that was who I meant. I guess I should learn who my TA is!

I'm a total control freak when it comes to planning. I think I'd have a stroke if I had to rely on someone else to make my reservations. More power to you people though!

Yea this is a new experience for me!

C'mon ya'll. I don't want kcwiak to freak out!:scared: KC, if it is Small World Vacation's you are talking about, yes I have used them 3 times and all was well. In fact, I believe SWV's was one of the pioneers of internet travel as a Disney exclusive authorized vacation planner. That is their specialty, applying discounts after you have booked as they come available, without you having to notify them. Take a deep breath and count to 10......repeat as necessary, it will be fine.:goodvibes

Thanks! They have been wonderful. No complaints. You know.....control freak here. ;)

Yeah, I decided I better not do the split stay.. thanks everyone for your input, I was just thinking I could just mosey on over there but didn't even think about the 3 PM check in.. :crazy2:

Now I am just trying to decide between CSR and CBR.. Didn't know until this morning that CSR has that little splash pad that my youngest would love but CBR has the pirate ship thing that is calling my oldest's name.. LOL..
Why in the world am I obsessing over this?? URGHHHHH

No time to catch up on the 25 pages from today. Hope everyone got what they were looking for. Will be back on later tonight to TRY and get back on track. Only 2 to 3 more long months for November discounts. ;)

The selling point for me is that CSR has queen size beds!

When I called for my dates, POR standard were sold out but I got garden view and they also had pool view available. I guess it depends on the actual dates.

My TA said that we got super lucky getting the standard room with FD - there were only a few available, and most people were being forced to upgrade. :goodvibes

Not crazy, and I am sure then you can empathize:grouphug:

Hear me screaming,,,DO IT...DO IT,,,,DO IT.....

:cool1:

I called at 7:55 this morning and my entire call (wait time + time on phone w/ CM) was 19 minutes. And that was with the CM having computer problems. It sounds like I got very lucky. Best of Luck to everyone.

Have a friend call me and tell me she called at 8 and was on hold 1.5 hours and CM told her she couldn't have the discount because she was staying past the 25th luckily she knew the policy and had the CM check. They really need to train a little better for days like this. Did they fix the website yet?
