I totally just got one of those free dining pins emailed to me just now. I have never gotten one and here it is after I have already booked FD. Check your inboxes folks!

I just got a Free Dining Pin emailed to me tonight too. There are dates in Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov & Dec...could that give hope for the possibility of FD dates for the GP later this year? We already got FD on our September trip this morning, but I feel so bad for others who are booked in other months later this year!

I hear you on that! We have 2 girls 16 & 13 and I keep telling my wife that they're growing up quickly and we need to go as much as we can. After going twice last year I had to give in to her and go somewhere different this year so we're going to Cali at the end of the month and will be hitting DisneyLand for a couple days. Not sure she's happy about that but it's somewhere different and because of it the girls and I were able to gang up and get our way for a trip back to DW in September!

The very best part is that I have footage of the brother I lost. He passed away somewhat unexpectedly 3 years ago due to complications from diabetes. Just when I had composed myself from the shock of the video being found, he popped up on the screen and I lost it again. One of my sister-in-law's (who was not present at the time of my wedding) messaged me on Facebook that night saying that she was so happy she could be there to see me get that video. It was very sweet. My family is my life.

Oh I agree! We had our first ever WDW experience in December 2012 and we are now booked for September 2013 and already talking about going again in April 2014! WOW

You can call to make the reservation but requests for specific seating can only be done at the location's podium when you check in.

i know what you mean! Our photographer gave us all our wedding pictures in a ziploc bag inside of a walmart bag; which my dh accidentally threw away the one time he tried to surprise me and clean out the spare bedroom. I told him instead of ordering more (because the photographer wanted double what it cost the first go round) i wanted a do-over at disney world....16 years later and still waiting for that but maybe one day :d

Have a question regarding the above. I am coming the week of Pop Warner. Which is Dec 8-14.

I just got an email regarding free dining into the end of December. The only week not offered, Pop Warner week.

HISTORICALLY, do the give out free dining or a room discount this week? I'm super bummed that I'm missing out on a HUGE discount.

Nope, I just got the pin too. Pop Warner is always blacked out for discounts.

411 can give specifics. But I have been there that week with free dining. Can you give more specifics of that email? The free dining into Dec part is very interesting

By the way guys. A few folks are receiving PIN codes covering free dining for select dates through December.

That certainly doesn't mean this would go public. But it does mean some of you may see these.

But it covers arrival dates for:
8/25– - 10/2
10/18– - 10/31
11/11– - 11/23
11/30– - 12/4
12/15– - 12/22

My predictions are so close! Going to bet most of these dates drop for the general public this summer

I sure hope this goes public as it covers my dates. I'd rather get the PIN and not have to wait until July or August to find out, though.

So do I and I'll tell you why. The switchboards didn't exactly blow up this morning or Monday. There were glitches that caused the phones to go wonky, but many people didn't wait that long at all. This year, as I said before, was painless compared to the past when everyone waited an hour+.

I don't see the PINs going crazy either...remember, we are a small tiny percentage of the public who receive these things. Many will just go to junk mail or be deleted...lost in the shuffle of many many emails.

When that doesn't work, they turn to the general public offer. The only reason the dates wouldn't be near to the same would be if a certain week sells well with the PIN, then they would just exclude that from the public offer.

But don't be surprised if these dates fall...I was just as surprised as anyone that this happens, and it certainly changes LOTs of things in terms of my thoughts on free dining.

Its the greatest secret ever. Nobody really knows, to be honest. Put your email in Disney's hands in every way you can. Go to the site and make a profile, order park maps and give it to them there...it's a rather random thing.
