Lol..it's cheaper to do it that way! And no idiots to deal with. We usually go to the Jimmy Buffet concert...that's an expensive day especially when you tailgate ALL day. And the idiots are everywhere.

We went to Clearwater last June for a week and I loved it. It broke my heart to be so close to Disney and not go, but it was the perfect beach vacation.

Google Surfisde condos Clearwater beach - we stayed there in condo 304. It was beautiful, right on the beach. We sat and watched the sunset every night and the beach was clean and never crowded. If you fish, there is a pier close by or you can just fish off the shore - we fished in the morning and evening and caught a ton of different types of fish! We went "shelling" with the kids every morning and found a ton of nice shells. I can't speak highly enough of Clearwater - you will ove it!

How far is Clearwater from WDW? DH and DS love to fish. Thanks for all the great info.

From WDW, Clearwater is about 90-120 minutes. A lot depends on the traffic.

Hi! As long as you check in on the 25th, you should be good to go. Make sure everyone in your party has at least two days of park tickets. : ). Everyone also has to have the same number of tickets to book the magic my way package.

I think you would have to make the reservation and checkin without mentioning that your DH is not there.

Last year, my friend booked a free dining package and checked in on the last day it was offered. Her husband and kids came down the next day. She booked her magical express at the same time, so the Disney agent knew they were coming separately. Not sure what the official policy is, but Disney allowed it for her.

She booked her magical express at the same time, so the Disney agent knew they were coming separately. Not sure what the official policy is, but Disney allowed it for her.

Yes, as long as someone is physically there to check and stays, all is good. Keep in mind she will have to pay for park ticks for him that he will not be using IF the rest of the party wants to go to parks before he gets there. Everyone has to have same amount of tickets on MMW package. I always check my family in by myself. : )

A solution is to buy everyone the number of tickets that the dad will be using and then upgrade the others to cover more days at Guest Services in the parks.

F&W festival question...what exactly is it and do they give free samples?? Lol We'll be down there from October 26th - November 2nd and attending MNSSHP on October 26th. My DH asked and I didn't have a definite answer so I went to all of my Disney gurus
