We are a family of 6 who has taken 6 free dining trips, so I am pretty well versed in the free dining discount. The OP has 2 people in her party and seemed slightly confused. I was trying to simplify things for her - let's not confuse her any more than she already is

Sorry. Not trying to confuse anyone, just pointing out the fact that discount rates all depend on the number of people in your party. It would be very easy for anyone to price a trip either way and see what the best deal is for them.

While I agree with this statement and you would think that statement would be true for everyone, there are a whole lot of people on the Codes and Rates Boards who can't seem to figure that out . . . .

Just called and was told that there were 2 pins attached to my name, but one had expired. The other was for free dining 4/23 thru 8/13. Was able to book 2 rooms for Pop Century from 7/12 thru 7/17 with free dining. Upgraded to regular plan for $13 per person per day.

I was told 3 night stay and 2 day base tickets were the minimums when I called today.

Just called and they said the only pin I had was one that expired yesterday. I asked why I wasn't told that I had a pin when I called last week and they didn't know. Hmmmmm... I wonder what that pin was?

I called and got the same response...however, I know what my pin was that expired. It was the one good through most of the year..with some blackouts... 40% off Deluxe and 35% off Mods (I can't remember what % off values)

The cm I spoke with was very nice. After he told me of the expired pin, I explained that is why I called since I realize that one had expired and thought there may be a new one that is a better deal for one of the trips I had booked. He kinda agreed regarding new ones and then said that he didn't see anything yet associated with my household.

That is so irritating. I called this morning and was told I had one that expired yesterday too. Fortunately I had applied it a couple weeks ago. Mine was for 40% off any room - value, mod or deluxe.

We are looking to go this November. Around the 13-18th. Does anyone know if the "pin codes" they are giving out is for dates that far ahead? It is driving me crazy. Hahaha. I just want a deal and to BOOK. I have Disney on the brain 24/7. I did call and they said I didn't have any pin codes associated with my household. This will be our 4th yr in a row going and I have never recieved a pin code. I just want free dining AGAIN. Is that too much for a girl to ask. LOL

But not everyone who read your reply is as well versed. It is easy to misunderstand your statement to be general rather then specific to this couple.

CONGRATS! but waaaaaaaaahhhhh I really was hoping for the free dining. I had them check my name, two addresses, three phone numbers, two zip codes, and anything else I could think of. Four days. Two people. Is it really too much to ask????

Something will be there for us.....for all of us still waiting for a pin or just opening it up to the entire public. Let's not panic yet! It is obvious that not all the CM's are reliable and they work off a quota.

I have booked with FD, 4/3 and percentage off......I would prefer 4/3 since it was an AWESOME discount..

The economy is still in the tank.....at least in most of NC. If Disney wants people to travel they are going to have to offer some great deals.

At fisrt she acted like she had no idea and I prodded her,but I never came out and asked for free dining. She had to look but it was there ! Yeah !! I would call back. The CM told me the offer started in April and ended Aug 13th.She told me the phone lines have been ringing off the hook.

i keep telling myself that the day isn't over yet, and my snail mail hasn't come yet...maybe it is in there?!?!?!?! I am waiting to call until last, I like to torture myself!...

4/3 was pay for four nights and get 3 nights free. It was truly a great savings. There was 4 (2 adults, 2 children) of us, the dining plan, park hopper tickets, in a pirate room-river view at CBR and we paid a little over $1700.00! That was the BEST!

I don't believe I have ever received a pin snail mail. I have two email accounts....and I get them sent to both. I still think I get them because every year I send for the vacation dvd. That is just a theory.....I truly do not know.
